Just for the record the rooting method and files here are the same thing used at XDA. I will look more into the bluetooth later today and see what I can come up with.

Paul,
Since I am new to FLASHING ROMS, do they need to have a kernel to go with it? Or is it just a flash of the ROM and the kernel is optional? THANKS!

The kernel I have included is already an overclocked/undervolt kernel if you use SetCPU or Overclock Widget to control it the overclock. Otherwise it will run at the standard 200-1000 undervolt setting.

Kernels are optional if you choose to change what comes with the ROM.

Thank you for the reply.

No problem. Let me add just in case your not aware of this, when flashing a kernel no wipe is required. Only time you need to wipe is when flashing a new ROM or if otherwise stated by the dev.

Also there are currently only two stand alone kernels that are capable of overclocking/undervolt and that is the Genocide kernels by Team Viper and Twilight Zone from ACS.

This must be something that is a product of the email client or the exchange activesync your using, I have not changed any of the applications that shipped with Froyo EB13 they are all stock.

I went back to stock EB13 last night and was able to attach a file normally through my exchange email. When I upgraded to ACE I was unable to attach files again. I'm just going to not attach files from my phone is what I've decided.

Ha ha! The compromise for cool! Glad I'm not the only one... :D

Paul,

As a person who uses bluetooth occasionally I can verify that the only ROM/Kernel that has fully functioning bluetooth capabilities are the ACS Syndicate and Twilight kernel. I am not sure if this information helps but you could start with them to find out how to fix this.

** The functionality I am talking about is Bluetooth voice dialing, bluetooth music streaming, and file syncing. I used these features on this ROM/Kernel and have not been able to on any other.

Thanks Paul for the info let us know when you come up with something...

You sure you dont want me to buy you a beer?

Thanks Royce

Paul,

Finally installed this over the weekend and I have to say, GREAT JOB :) But that is what I have come to expect :)

I don't consider myself a super user of phones by any mean but so far I haven't come across any issues at all. Everything works just fine, at least for me. Phone has been unplugged for 11 hours and it's still showing 55% battery. That's impressive.

Keep up the good work.

you have something wrong with you sd card or the download re-download the file then back up all your data on the sdcard format it then restore the data and try again... should work....

I had the same problem when installing CWM 3..0.6 and EB 13 with EXT 4.
I copied all contents of SD Card to desktop (and dropbox), formatted SD card using a card reader connected to my pc. Reinstalled the SD Card contents from desktop and it worked!

Glad i was able to help ya...

Ahh.... exactly the kind of Froyo ROM I have been looking for... I have all the functions that came with the phone that I valued (I actually like Sprint Nav) with all the tweaks. Easy on the eyes and seems pretty quick. I'll post a mini-opinion on Saturday after I have a few days to play.. Looks quite good so far though... nicely done.

Paul,

Just flashed your ROM after reading the reviews. Quick question, I have Titanium Backup, so I am assuming, DO NOT restore everything since that will defeat the custoom ROM, but restore what I need? Correct?

After flashing this last night (excellent ROM btw), I must have done something else to remove the extra wallpaper options you put into the ROM. Is there any way to get those back?

Thanks!
