Is wifi working on AOKP? Couldn't get it working on cm9 earlier and I think I would like the theming options in AOKP also. I have it downloaded and will flash shortly, but don't really want to flash back if wifi doesn't work...but that's all I got right now.

Wifi works just fine for me, worked from first boot.

I also saw that camera doesn't work at all on AOKP.

I believe you have to enable it yourself under Settings somewhere from now on.

if you had to guess when a beta/rc1 build of this will be released, do you have a general timeframe? I want to try this rom but I have a feeling its going to be alpha for a while...

Yep. No root on aokp. Everything else works great so far.

Based on what I'm seeing, the code in CM wont stabilize for a couple months. AOKP will probably stabilize sooner but who knows. In the meantime I'll be trying to fix MMS and the camera, and get my ICS kernel going.

I don't have root either...anyone know how to fix this? Wifi works...would like to keep it and play around with it but hate that I can't restore apps cuz I have no root

What are you trying to do? If the rom seriously doesn't have superuser app and a good su binary, why don't you just install it? You still have your custom recovery, right?

My wifi glitched. Only hours after saying it was working. I just restored back to 7

Does any one know of a kernel that supports VPN ( TUN / TAP) which I can use with this rom? An app I want to use needs it, and the kernel provided doesn't have it... ):

What are you trying to do? If the rom seriously doesn't have superuser app and a good su binary, why don't you just install it? You still have your custom recovery, right?

Installed superuser app but when I try to update binary it fails because it can't find currently installed binary...any help with this is appreciated, I'm about to flash back to backside though :-/
