Thats pretty sweet... what you'd have to do is resize all the images to fit our screens, which isn't hard, but its alot of busy work

Sent from my Optimistic Optimus

Seems like its easy to port, but very time consuming. If I'm not busy later, I'll try it out :)
To the new boot animation, of course :)

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

If you are using ubuntu, you can use mogrify with * to resize all the images in the bootanimation in half a minute. ;)

Same can be done on Windows with ImageMagick installed.

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

mic fix swaps buttons btw and just flash it it might work for some one els ;)

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

does any one else get texts in batches of 8 or 9 at a time from a number that dosent exist (9999999999)? the texts are nothing but strings of charaters and letters. this never happened until i installed alpha3 and it also does it on alpha4.

The messages from 9999999999 are MMS messages trying to come in. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

The 9999999999 are indeed MMS trying to get through. I think coming from someone who has Verizon. I've had this problem before with a few people that have Verizon and I would get nothing but the 9's.

mic+fix+for+cm9apha1.zip

Thanks, but that's a flashable zip. I do see that audio.policy_default.ko is present and it's not in quattrimus. Is that the difference, or is there something in the binaries that is different?

You've tested this and it works?

Re: [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS)

Hey so this is probably a really nooby question, lol, but is this going to be the only ICS out for the OV? I haven't heard about any others except maybe some themes or something. And is the whole cyanogenmod team working on this or just TDM? thanks! :)

the Optimus V is not officially part of the cyanogenmod development. it wasn't in cm7 and it's not in cm9.

I wish it was... but this is by far good enough for me, I've been lurking in this thread for the past couple days and the development has been outstanding.

Others are working on it also. We might end up with an IHO CM9 within a few weeks, depending on how blarf and others feel about it.

haven't tested it yet, honesty, my phone just died, lol
Going to test it first, then crank it in my ROM. If it works.. lol you guys are lucky with the server. Been making bacon for some time now, but then again it is my 'first' time making bacon (if you have seen my post in the building your own ROM thread)

But here's something that's been agging at me lately. Last time I checked, we didn't have libcamera.so in /system/lib. That can't be good, lol.
