[ROM] Android Open Kang Project

Sprung for the aokp rom control restore on the market to support the team. Working nicely so far.

Which is "better?" Milestone 4 or nightly 175? What's the difference?

Ok,
so I switched to AOKP a few weeks ago and all is nice, now reading the thread that people are suggesting to use Franco Kernel.

is it as easy to install, download the zip and install from recovery? do I need to do a backup?
Will I gain anything special not using the kernel from AOKP? I see he sell an updater at play store.

Thanks,
Xanth

The app makes life pretty easy. It has an auto flash option that once you download the kernel you can tell the app to auto flash the zip. App is definitely worth 2 bucks.

I think they're the same. Maybe the 192Mhz slot on M4? Can't remember if that was in r175 or not.

Just flash M4. You know you want to ;)

Sweet!!! Nice Benchmarks... but I am going to hold off on going that high on the CPU.

Our max is 1650 MHz ;).

I'm staying on 1344. Using the 512 GPU kernel as well, against my better thinking I might add.

Dang... Your score is 500 points higher than mine, but I'm only using 384 GPU setting just to play it safe.

The first benchmark I posted was with the 384 GPU ;).
