[ROM][AOSP][10/31][JB] Bugless Beast VZW Galaxy Nexus

installed the new rom. From 1/18. Installed 1/22. The rom, made me do a compete data wipe. That sucked because I wasn't expecting it and lost all my settings.

How did it make you? If you flashed in rom manager sometimes it checks off what it wants to do. I always just boot recovery and flash. If you made a backup just now flash the backup for 1/18 and then flash the newest one. Wipe dalvik only.

Running 1/22/12 and flashed Lou's Defiant V2 kernel last night. Super stable and sipping battery like an old man with a hot bowl of soup. This is a great combination!

Hey... Can you give some more info:

Sample usage?
How many Apps installed?
Have extended battery?
Average signal strength?

Yesterday was the first day with this combo, but was a pretty typical day for me. I stay on wifi and 3G at the house, but 4G when I'm out. I live in a very good 4G area, so I usually have 3-4 bars (sorry, I don't really look at my dBm that much) with no drop-back to 3G.

I was on 4G about 6 hours, streamed TuneIn radio for an hour or so, played a few games. Several texts and voice calls throughout the day (not heavy, but enough). Screen is on auto-brightness most of the time and sync is always on.

Overnight drain (idle on wifi/3G) was about 4%. At about 16 hours, I was at 20% battery left. This is on a standard battery. Pete's kernel is pretty darn good, but the difference with Lou's is noticeable.

Yeah, I went through the Rom Manager. All my photos are there. It's just my settings, call logs and text messages were wiped. I have done this so many times, i didn't want to back up. learned my lesson.

doing a data wipe will always wipe those. your photos live on the sd card partition which isn't touched when you wipe data.

Anyone using 2/2 having trouble with the screen not shutting off during a call?

What am I missing?

Also, what does Pete's new option to "auto dim backlight" do anyway?

it looks like pete has most of the updates from the 4.04 update in there but it's still technically 4.03 because 4.04 isn't in AOSP yet.

Re: [ROM] Bugless Beast for VZW Galaxy Nexus - 2/7/2012

2/7 is up

Changes, from what I can tell.

Common: Add CPU Settings to "Developer options" (cyanogenmod)
Common (Phones): Add notification drawer toggles and settings (cyanogenmod)

Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 2/7/2012

2/16 just got posted. Can't find anything in the changelog, but maybe I'm overlooking it.

Yes it is! Finally the wait is over, lol. It has been 9 days since I flashed a ROM! :-)

Not really a big fan of the new toggle options, I would rather have the settings button go to the settings menu and have shortcuts on the drop-down notifications thingy.

Other than that, no problems with 2/16 that I've noticed.

Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 2/16/2012

I mentioned that to Pete. Asked if he couldn't just give us the option of the new toggles or the old ones. He says the two are completely different and the new ones are stock for ICS tablet builds. My thing is that this is a phone, not a tablet. I prefer the old toggles.
