[ROM][AOSP][10/31][JB] Bugless Beast VZW Galaxy Nexus

I just dirty flashed this (wiping cache after) and besides the email app flipping out on me and having to set up my synch again it went well.

Runs much faster than V3 I came from. Feels like a true JB experience and very quick!

I just tried it with Franco's r217 jb kernel....ehh...kinda laggy....probably too early to go custom on the kernel.

Just a heads up if someone was thinking about trying.

I thought I read in one of these threads last night that the JB 4.1 kernel's will work with JB 4.1.1? Maybe I was hallucinating?

Haven't changed the kernel on BB. I've only been running it for a bit but I left it alone after I reset CPU Spy and the phone had no Deep Sleep. It was charging though. Normal? Abby Normal?

I flashed this rom to my phone but now my phone doesn't want to boot up. Any suggestions? It seems as if its stuck. I did one battery pull but still no boot up

Did you clean install? Ie: factory restore, wipe cache, wipe system?

It is great to be back running BB. So smooth.

Can't wait till he can get some of his customizations built in. I have to say though, I miss my stock browser and the stock browser bookmark widget. Oh well.

Anyone having issues with voice search? It picks up the voice but doesn't initiate any searches for me.

I think you need to install a language pack. It's in the Google Now settings under voice I believe.
Pete left that out because it's a 22 MB download.
I could be wrong about that but I know mine works and I did download Eng (US).

Latest 7/12 build is up...fixes wifi and youtube
running good so far.

I just mirror this thread for people that don't hang on Rootz. If you have a technical issue with Bugless, that's the place to post it. I'm pretty sure Pete doesn't check this thread at all and we want to make sure he's aware of any issues so that's the best place to post them.

If the ROM isn't booting it's either a bad download (check your md5) or you didn't do a full wipe when you should have. It's probably the former just given the load his server has been under the last day or two, it's not a surprising a few download got corrupted.

The mirror that hosts his files is so sloooow! Someone upped it on GoogleDocs over on RW so I just snagged it off there. Wanted to check the md5 but I'm impatient and just flashed it. Seems to be working fine

Flashed the 7/12 build a little while ago, running great here. My first time running Bugless.. Seemed like a good call as I'm not really feeling the other JB ROMs available as of yet. Haven't noticed any issues.

Running the "updated" BB as of this morning.. and I haven't had any issues. Running smoother than Jackes Jelly in my opinion.
