Has anyone noticed any delay when first unlocking the device. I got francos kernel on here and it seems when when i first unlock it lags then it's fine.

I didn't notice till after reading your post but I do have a spit second delay but it doesn't happen every time not sure whats the problem.

I haven't noticed any lag here on CNA 1.3.3 when unlocking my device.
But then again I'm using the default kernel.

If I flash the 4.0.4 radios from the zip file previously posted, I understand that will install a new kernel as well. Can I then reflash franco, or do I have to use the kernel that comes with the 4.0.4 radios?

I think that what you're actually referring to is the bootloader that updates, not the kernel. At any rate, yes you can flash Franco's afterwards if it got changed (but I'm pretty sure it wont).

However, I'd recommend that you download the 4.0.4 radio files from here:

These are strictly the radio files...no bootloader involved and it doesn't matter what version of radio's you currently have. They flash just like you would flash a kernel. I used them yesterday, flashing the 4.0.4 right over the 4.0.3 that I had. Smooth as silk. Keep in mind that the CDMA radio takes a minute or two to complete, so don't think that something is wrong.

So, something weird happened today. My phone shut off because of battery, lack of. Now, when I turned it back on *everything* was force closing. Upon further investigation with Catlog, it seems like all my apps are getting permission denied errors. Apps are acting like I freshly installed them? I'm wiping and going to a new rom, this was 100% random since my phone was off!

Something wierd is happening with mine also. My Google sync is not working days will be back shortly. don't understand what's going on? Anybody else havingthe same issues edit: battery pull fixed it. Oops

Reboot into recovery and run fix permissions. You can also do it in ROM Manager, but sometimes it hangs when people do it there. It runs pretty quick from recovery.

looks like they are taking a few more days to make sure 1.4 is ready for widespread use. 1.3.3 has been pretty nice so kinda looking forward to this large update to see what's improved and new!

Hmmm. That's nice news for a Friday for sure. I'm still in 1.1.4. I've been happy with it and haven't had a reason to update. Lets see what the changelog drops on us this time around

I have upgraded to 1.3.3 today from 1.2.0. Everything works well except I can't find File app any more. I got myself Astro, so it's no big deal but is codename no longer carrying File app any more?

You should always do full wipes.

I didn't wipe going from 1.2 to 1.3.2 and found myself in an endless boot loop. I was just being lazy. Yes wipe and be happy.

Awesome rom, perfect blend of stock with modifcations. only problem i have is the dialer lags and freezes then the contacts app force closes once in a blue moon when i attempt to dial a number. Not a big deal since it only takes about 5 - 10 seconds for it to freeze, crash, then reset and work perfectly.
