I'm using the stock radio and mine has been locking up at about the same rate. Never had a problem with 1.4 or earlier. The only setting I've really changed is to enable "Fast Charge", but I've had it turned off and had a freeze.

Just had my phone replaced on Wednesday (lost it) and immediately installed 1.5.5. Haven't had a single issue with lockups and I have run stock, 4.0.4 and 4.0.4 hybrid (current) radios.
Update on my issue: I was able to load 1.5.5 fine and nova launcher is working well. I think when I restored my apps, something got screwed up. I restored only the apk's versus apk and data with mybackup pro and it seemed to work.
I will keep an eye on the lockups which I had a problem with on 1.5.0

So I flashed this rom on my Galaxy S and I want to flash a Kernel. Which one is the best? Does the Devil Kernel work with CNA?
This subforum is for galaxy nexus, so i dont think many (if any) of the kernels for this phone (gnex) are compatible with the galaxy s.
Just dont want you flashing something that could harm your phone.
No there's a release for Galaxy S, and since there's no thread about the galaxy s rom I thought some of you might know a compatible kernel
I understand, just saying I don't think our kernels are compatible with your device.
As for galaxy s kernels, I don't know, maybe someone else can help ya out, or you could hit up xda maybe.
Anyone know how or where to get the sounds that came preinstalled on cna 1.5.0? Like "Missed it" or "Captains Log" etc

You can unzip 1.5.0 if they came baked in and pull them out of the system folder.
I know this is the GNex forum (I have one) but I'm trying to find CNA1.6 for the DInc to flash onto my wife's phone, but I can't find the F'er. Anyone now where to get it?

With that, just put 1.6 on the the GNex and so far so good, no issues, runs fast and stable.

Yep, and there are some links to nightly's of 2.0 release candidates that you can get now. I'm on the 04/11 nightly right now and like it. I tried the 04/12 nightly and it wouldn't boot for me. But, now I see there's a 04/13 nightly posted.

Frankly, it's becoming more and more clear that the CNA project has been dropped. There hasn't been an update to the github in almost a week. All of those nightlies since then are nothing more than the same nightly because there has been nothing added or changed with them.
Link is the person who is supposed to keep the community informed on Rootzwiki and he started an "Update" trhead and then he also disappeared. In checking his stats I can see that he has logged in but has made no updates or responded to questions about the continuation of the CNA rom.
And now, my posts are being deleted by the thread gestapo over there because I said that the devs have a responsibility to let people know what is going on. That doesn't mean they owe them some date for a new rom, but it does mean that when they ask for donationa and people make those donations and they accept that money, then they owe that community the courtesy of keeping them informed. Apparentaly that isn't allowed on Rootzwiki as their moderator keeps removing my posts.
I've moved over to AOKP (god I hate those pink unicorns!!), a nice rom but their logo/mascot is just weird.

Been using AOKP since build 22 or so when I switched from CNA. The pink unicorn is a little silly but it doesn't bug me. In general, I don't use custom boot animations and AOKP has a setting in ROM Control to turn off the boot animation.
