[ROM][AOSP] ICS Nexus S 4G Source ROM Port

I'm using v2 and have been for about 20 hours now. The only real issue I'm having is with mms. I'm using handcent cause goSMS wouldn't sync contacts. But neither of them will download mms. The stock messenger also will not get them. I also can't use batch restore in titanium back up, but I can restore apps individually. Thanks to all the genius rock stars that made this possible!

No point in preaching... still too many issues in v2. i'm going back to cm7 until the actual source is out or if they create a stable version.

The fix on page 221 fixed my wifi loop problem.Have been running since last night no reboots and no freezing.Just smooth sailing.

I'm just curious.... What happened to the ICS browser features they talked about in the launch party? Chrome Sync? anybody?

Chrome is syncing on mine with out issue. All my favs on my desktop and tablet are showing up on my phone if this is what you are talking about.

They said all my bookmarks from chrome would sync to my phone with ICS... How do I see those bookmarks then? can't find them anywhere... Thanks!

You can actually flash v2 and then the sprint eri fix, and that fixes the previously reported boot loops. I have been running it for the better part of the day. No problems, plus wifi icon now shows signal strength.

Sprint eri fix? Link? :)

The thread was closed. Anyone try out koush's non*4g port?

Re: Best 4.0 port?

His name is beezy, not breezy :) And he made an SDK port before source code was available. Now that source code is available, the ROMs based off that (AOSP ROMs) run much smoother.

I believe the smoothest port with the most working features is Koush's. The speed of his ROM is like night and day compared to the others I've tried.

I wasn't aware there was a Koush NS4G version.
