[ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS (ZVD)

I have about 35 apps using interactivex 122/768. 300 apps is insane :-) .

Something that may help improve battery life is using the SmartassV2 CPU governor. Set your clocks to ???/122. After I had mentioned it in the VS660 thread, a user replied and stated that after using the SmartassV2 governor he had experienced much better battery life and has not had any lag that he had experienced before and that it felt like a different device.

"One thing about the smartass governor is that when the screen is off it will lower the maximum CPU frequency, which on our device I believe will be either 320MHz, or if your minimum CPU frequency is above that, it will use that instead. That could explain how it is helping with b

All of my reboots (on this ROM) are bluetooth related. Usually when my headset disconnects or I turn off BT in the ROM.

I am loving this ROM but the thing I don't like is how fast my battery seems to drain. Does any body have any tip or tweaks to help lengthen the battery life without losing too much performance?

Check if your phone is going into deep sleep. Use cpu spy. If not, you might switch to the other version (cm9/aokp) or try the nightly builds.

I have my min at the lowest setting under performance settings...SmartassV2 governor may help.

I found when I'm on wifi I have great battery life, but on 3G not so much...

Speaking of deep sleep, it was doing good for a few days, but now it's just "meh". I was at work all day so I barely got to touch my phone, yet cpu spy reported it was only in deep sleep for 10% when I checked it when I got home. I'm on the latest aokp nightly FWIW. It's still better than the 0% we were getting a few builds ago though :p

The old cpu spy was abandoned, another dev picked up the slack and is great.

Better Battery Stats will let you know what wakelocks, partial wakelocks, alarms, etc. are keeping deep sleep from happening, and sucking battery. There is a free xda version in the second or third post.

Oh I'll try the cpu app, thanks. I'll check it in the morning, see how it goes while I'm asleep.

I did have better battery stats for a while but I don't know what most of the wake locks mean so it didn't help much lol.

The wakelocks tell you what app is using cpu cycles and how long they run. I was having trouble with an app, you can see what the heck is going on. Seems obvious. o_0

Well, I know what they're supposed to tell you, but some of them I had no idea what it did until I Googled it. If it says something about the actual app name, yeah, that's obvious. :p

Sometimes we gotta work for it. I have never googled as much as I do now with these @#$%! custom ROMs; I have my browser open a google window when it starts, cause I know I will be in in in seconds. :D

Aw...work is hard :( Quit arguing with me and lemme be lazy!

Lol seriously though , I do Google a ton of stuff. That's how I found out about the "airplane mode battery pull" method to keep the RILJ wakelock under control. Been awhile since I used it, so I might give it another go. I probably was just being lazy and got confused and annoyed at it lol.

Really tiny bug: The voice key on the side of the phone opens recent apps but it is the gingerbread version and not the stock version

Just tried the side key...Its ics for me

Hmmm... I get the the gingerbread view which is really weird but when I hold the home key It gives me ICS stock... And I think I noticed it in previous builds too

Unless this is ICS stock then this is what I get

Edit: oh and that's in AOKP not CM9 Nightly 7/14 :)
