[ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS (ZVD)

So I didn't realize that all the AOKP nightlies disappeared, so by not paying attention I flashed the 7-18 cm9 nightly over 7-12 AOKP.......yay.

Lol...oopsie :p

I almost downloaded the wrong one the other day too. Now I pay verrrry careful attention to the name. ;)

So let me ask real quick, I'm still running off the first flash a week ago. Have there been any significant changes to the latest build that I would want to take a look at it. I'm going to flash it either way, but I'm just wondering since I'm still kinda cautious about how to do it and I set my phone up nice and have it the way I like it with sym links in the right places and folders in my launcher, and really would hate to have to start fresh.

Daily changelogs are in Goo Im and you can decide when to flash

I'm interested in switching to this from CAI CM9. I have TiBu backups of my apps and some of the settings (WiFi hotspots, suchlike). My SD card has an sd-ext, ext3 partition that I know I'll need to wipe along with system, cache, data, all of the usual stuff. I normally use a script that moves /data and Dalvik to the sd-ext; I know I shouldn't use that script when I flash Quattrimus.

Anything else I should know before making the switch? Tips or secrets or anything I overlooked?

I love the AOKP rom so far but I've noticed a problem with the status bar clock being refreshed when unlocking the phone. The lock screen clock stays updated just fine, but when unlocking the phone, the time in the status bar takes up to a minute (it's normal refresh cycle, I assume) and it'll jump to the right time.

I'm running the 7/19 nightly if it matters.

This is a issue even with TheKraven's ICS its just a matter of time before it will be fixed, I use a home page widget clock such as Beautiful Widget or GO Weather EX. I ignore the clock in the status bar for the most part. Like I said its just a matter of time

Try unchecking automatic date and time in aokp. I haven't had any clock lag after that. Battery life is pretty good on the 7/19 build.

Trying Quattrimus ICS again, and running into the same problem as a week ago--can anybody point me in the right direction?

Apps aren't moving to SD-EXT, and app updates are sometimes throwing off errors due to insufficient space. I have a 1GB partition, dalvik has moved there, but not apps. Running the mount command indicates /sd-ext and /data/dalvik-cache are mounted to mmcblk0p2, but /data/app does not appear. I'm not using any scripts or apps for a2sd, just letting the ROM handle it automatically, as I understood it. Clean flash, wiped everything.

Appreciate any help--let me know if more info is needed (sorry, not a dev...:-[)

eta: LS670, AOKP build, 7/12 nightly

Your /data/app directory needs to be empty at boot for the mount to work. Either move the files with a shell command or wipe and restore.

I've been running aokp a few days now and my only problem is clock lag. The first thing I did was uncheck automatic time date update, I still get an average of between 2 and 8 minutes lag but I have seen it over 3 hrs also. I use my phone as my alarm so this is a bigger bug in my eyes. Honestly tho, great work I've taken this rom and have tweaked and themed the hell outta it and no other probs or reboots. THANK YOU TDM!!!

Pmoney, in all my time running AOKP, the clock lag never actually had an effect on my alarms. They still went off at the correct time. Just download Clocksync from the Market. These are the settings I used.

Auto sync on, high precision mode, sync every 15 minutes.

Anyone else have their date disappear from next to the settings button in the notification panel with either of the last two aokp nightlies? Like this:

YES! I knew something looked strangely empty, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Lol. It disappeared after I flashed the 7/20 nightly. That was on a clean flash. Dirty flashed 7/21 yesterday and it's still gone. I'll try another clean flash with 7/22 here in a bit and see what happens.

Been out of town for 3 days with no data or wifi access (it was killing me!). I don't see changelogs since 7/19. Any earth-shattering improvements in the nightlies?

Goo has been unreliable, try a different mirror.

That happened to me and I enabled the weather panel in the notification bar then turned it back off. the date appeared and hasn't disappeared yet.
