Dang, I go spend a few hours in the backcountry and look what happened. Downloading now. A5-V12 has been running great since yesterday, on to A6 after my meeting.

You can, you just wont have any service. ( No voice, data, etc )

Someone let us know soon how well this works as a dirty flash. I like my current app population. I'll clean install if need be, but.

Do a wipe and flash, then boot to recovery and advanced restore data only. :thumbup:

The cm9 ones don't work with our phones just yet. The ones on the market work fine.

OK A6 installed wifi and data work. Will try USB and adb when I get to my computer. Full wipe flash rom and gapps, boot. Sign in to Google, reboot, advanced restore data only, boot. Runs great. Did the install at free wifi coffee shop. To switch from wifi to 3g, had to toggle airplane on & off once, 3g came up strong and blue instantly. Been on it about 2 hours.

I have been using CM 7.2 but recently decided to try CM9 again since it has become more stable. I admit I have not read through all the pages in this thread but I have been reading them all recently, so I apologize if some of these issues have been brought up, solved, or you are still working on. Please let me know how I can fix if I can though, Thanks

Issues with Alpha6 after full wipe.

1. How do I get rid of New voicemail (4) in the status bar? This pops up after every install and when I check messages there are none.

2. How do I get Google voice to verify my number? When I try it says its gonna send a text message from my phone to the google voice server. It can not authenticate therefore can not use my google voice voicemail.

3. Turning phone to landscape mode default keyboard becomes way to big for screen.

4. Turning phone to landscape mode with SwiftkeyX (not sure about default because of oversizing) when deleting characters in a text the curser disapears and it is hard to see where I am at in the message.

5. When listening to music i get no bass sounds...low frequencies...DSP Problem?

6. No WIFI Tether...Any 3rd party software we can use?

7. No MMS

8. Bluetooth connection to sony car stereo connects but really bad sound quality all muffled up

Anyone know anything about these issues? I know some are not fixed yet like MMS and Bluetooth. Other than that I love this ROM, I dont know which to use this one or your 7.2 =]
