Meet HUMBLE which is an ultra stable and super fast EE4 ROM that is excellent with battery life.

I am relatively new to themeing and creating roms so please go easy on me and supply constructive comments. I will enjoy learning what I can from anyone who is willing.

The first thing you will notice about this rom is how it sips battery power. At idle it consumes about 1 to 1.5% per hour or less and at moderate to heavy use it still only uses minimal power. My focus for this rom was to take all the stability from stock EE4 for those of you who like the stock feel and reliability and match that with a nice AOSP look which gets rid of the nasty brown colors.

I think what I have made is one of the most stable roms in here but I will let you decide that. I am sure there will be bugs and I am relying on you guys to catch them and help me with them.

If you like this rom and ODIN package please consider donating to me.

Instructions

Humble 1.25 is not an ODIN and will be flashed through CWR

I always recommend to disable voodoo lagfix before you flash anything

This will automatically root your system

1. Wipe data/factory reset via CWR
2. Wipe cache via CWR
3. Flash Humble 1.25 Via CWR
4. Reboot
5. 3G/4G data may take up to 5 minutes to load. You can toggle mobile data on and off or pop it into airplane mode a few times for faster mobile data loading
6. Go into spare parts app in your app drawer and set window animations to fast and transition animations to fast
7. In Launcher Pro go into options>preferences>advanced settings and change the app drawer open speed from 4 to 8 and screen previews opening speed from 4 to 8
8. Boot into recovery and enable voodoo lagfix and system lagfix (use quickboot app to easily boot into recovery if you like)
9. Follow these battery wiping instructions to calibrate your battery and get the most from your battery ----> http://www.ubiquitense.com/technolog...id-phone/2868/
10. Enjoy a superfast ROM that sips battery.. enough said.

If you want to remove the rooted custom kernel and recovery and just want to run a non rooted system then download my kernal and recovery downgrade odin package here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...40&postcount=6 (Credit to imnuts for the kernel and recovery) (credit to me for packaging them in an easy downgrade odin package)

His main/original posting of this is over on XDA and there are some screen shots. As for people using it plenty have used it and have had great success with it fmro what I've read and gathered over at XDA. Family matter ( death in the family ) have stopped me having time to test it out yet but I have all intentions to do so as soon as I can.

Sorry to hear, hope things get better for you and your family.

I'll check out the XDA post for this ROM, might give it a shot. Just a pain in the butt having to reinstall apps and whatnot after installing new ROMs, that's why I don't do it often.

Thanks, appreciate the concern. At the end of the day it was for the best. Poor guy has been suffering for long enough.

I hear ya tho I hate having to do all the reset stuff also. however with that said don't install just yet. I noticed few people having issues with the Market on 1.25 and the OP just commented he will look into it this evening. So before jumping in you might want to hold up until he fixes whatever issue there is with it atm.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye on the thread about it before I decide on installing it.

Just installed this yesterday after somehow making my phone unstable. So far im loving it! No problem with the market so far although I have only tried free apps. I am seeing a marked improvement with battery life, although it will take more time to tell butnoemally at this time of day I would be in the 80 percents somewhere and today im at 96. Could have just been the battery reset but idk.

I bought my Charge yesterday and put Humble on it this morning. Its definitely faster and runs rather well. I can't comment on battery life because I didn't have mine phone long enough without the ROM to have a baseline.

Really enjoying the Rom, the phone, and the community we have here!

coming from AB 4.1.1, great ROM so far, battery life is a bit better, will report any bugs that arise, thx for your work...:D

edit1: battery life is incredible --16hrs of regular use on 4g/3g,
