[ROM][FF18][July 01, 2012] DK_Liquid_Ice_v1.2.0_Stable

Just wanted to say thanks for the work. I played around with this ROM for awhile until I had touchscreen issues. [ not your doing ] worked very well, I just sent the phone in for repair. Hope to try out the AOKP next.

You will like AOKP alot.

I went through all 12 pages to see if I could answer my question but here goes. I have been having nothing but problems with updating my stock EL29 to stock FF18. I tried downloading the update zip and flashing it on recovery and that failed so then I brought it into a Sprint store and they tried doing the OTW and that didn't work. Then it got pulled. My last resort was to root which I did so I am running a stock EL29 with root and rogue recovery but then I couldn't get any ROM's to flash. I was finally able to get this ROM to flash. I followed the process as stated and I after I rebooted from recovery (after flashing both files) my device is stuck on the boot screen for about 5 minutes now. Should I reattempt to flash the device?

Used this as my first from for maybe the last month or so. No problems so far except today when I was browsing Google currents. Pressed home only to find a blank home screen and blank app drawer. Simple reboot fixed it. Just wanted to mention it, just in case.

I was looking at the instructions, and noticed it said nothing about wiping any caches anywhere. I had to do that when I flashed AOKP (keep in mind, I'm still kind of new at this).

Is this necessary? I've been wanting to try this ROM out for a while now, but I want to know exactly what I need to do before attempting. I watched qbking videos on YT to do it the first time.

Anyone have DK 1.2 Zip file. The source files are gone from the original hosting spot. The link to 1.1.1 above still works at dropbox Thx DK, but it would be good to get to 1.2
