On the newest update of ICS, Facebook won't work, is that an app incompatibility, or a problem?

I installed the update to 3.5 only doing a cache wipe and my facebook works just fine. I am not having any of the lockscreen or other issues so far. I don't use Google Reader (i don't think) and the UI is quite snappy and fast. Battery seems a little worse. I have yet to play with all the apps. But the market is okay and all the apps I downloaded so far seem okay. The one thing I did notice and I also had this with the 3.2 port was long pressing on the home screen only gives me the choice of selecting one of three types of wallpapers and DOES NOT give me widgets as a choice. I can only get to widgets through the app drawer.

Ok, for those having issues with Google Reader with todays ROM update, here's the previous version apk, 1.0.3. This is the version before yesterdays 1.1.1 with crashes when opening an article in the latest ROM update.

Just ibstall the apk from the following link and Google Reader will work properly, you just won't have the new widgets from yesterdays update.

In addition, I'm now using the newest rom version released today and things seem a bit snappier, awesome!

This is an intended feature of ICS, it's not a bug.

Ok, but I thought in an earlier post, someone said I could get to widgets. No biggie. I love this ROM so much, I have not gone back to my photon, which I use for my business. I am continuing to test this for may non-international business needs.

Well it'd be redundant if Widgets could be added from 2 spots.

Thanks to everyone involved with the update. I did another full wipe, cause I always just do, and everything is going good so far.

Agree. On honeycomb (I have a XOOM), I believe you can, but I'm not home to check right now. At any rate, I have become accustomed to setting widgets on this ICS via the app drawer, so it is really no biggie.

UPDATE: Yes, on the XOOM WiFi, you can either long press on the screen to set widgets or tap on the "+" in the upper right hand corner to set widgets.

Handcent SMS doesn't seem to work with this and it doesn't show up in a Market search. Loves me some Handcent so I can't use this yet. :(

Beezy if you see this check your PM and let me know what you think. :)

Darn you and your cryptic messages...getting me all curious ;-)

Been using the update for a few hours now and I'm getting *much* better performance after a cache and dalvik wipe. The Market in particular runs quite a bit better. I do agree that my battery life seems a bit worse though.
Great news about the Galaxy Nexus root. Hopefully some useful system files can trickle our way.
