I really hope the source will include face unlock, hw accelerated browser, instant camera shots and such. Pray it won't be an exclusive feature to the Galaxy Nexus.

Drew will probably have this in his upcoming full port. He's already said it will have face unlock.

My guess is all of that will probably be in there.. except the zero shutter lag. I could be wrong but that seems like you would have to have the correct hardware to pull that off. I heard that the image sensor in the gnex is MUCH better (talking sensor, not megapixels here)

No rush though beezy... would much rather have a polished update than frequent ones... i am just a flash-o-holic and need my fix before i go Crazy!

I stand corrected. Nice find. Thats actually pretty awesome! I would totally buy the pro version if i didnt want to (now) see if ICS will provide the same experience! lol THanks!

Does it error out or just not download? You could try to enable download over wifi only in the settings and just make sure you are on a wifi network and see if that helps.

also.. you could try to re-install the market app:

Not sure but you should be able to uninstall the current app.. reboot, then install this one? haven't tried but sounds like it should.

If your using a different market then the one included in the Rom that would be the problem. I didn't add any updated apps for that reason part of the trade of of having ICS is you might have to use older apps.



I would check out what you got going on with your apps. Try reboot when you have to charge that should help too. I don't really seem to run into that issue so it's probably cause I reboot or just don't use the apps you use.

yea i do reboots often, i really dont know what going on but sometimes i get tons of bug mailers, its super irritating because i dont know how to turn that feature off.

i dont use anything really, tons and tons of gtalk basically.

Oh and I can't turn off Google+ auto upload feature. I kinda want to keep it but I'd rather not uninstall. Any advice?

Edit. So I checked the screen again and it was back to normal. Idk what happened but I guess it was a hickup

For everyone else, this isn't something you should use unless you don't use widgets as the widget screen just crashes.

Btw Beezy, can you change the white strip above the dock in the current rom version to the below image? It looks way better and replicates ICS more.

If you get the strip changed, shoot me a PM and i'll check it out. In the current ROM, it's one of the hotseat images in the launcher2.apk

i love the animations of launcher 2 and have no issues with it.

With this version of the launcher yes. The only difference is its a bit smoother and the Google search widget isn't cut off by default. The widget screen will crash with this version which is why I suggest you don't use it.

No need to worry about it for now, it was mainly for beezy

if the source is released that means this rom will get even better cause now beezy would have official files to use. he isnt talking about ics updates for any phones , that wont be for a little while and if so , stay rooted and just wait till one of the devs uploads a rooted version for our phone

If that date is right yes stay rooted and running custom Rom. That is only the source code,I then have to download all the source code and compile it to make a Rom.There won't be a OTA that day for our phones.As soon as they release source I will download and start the compile process. As soon as it's done Ill flash if everything is good I'll post it.
