[ROM] JRO03R - Stock 4.1.1 - Rooted, Deodexed [Updated 09/23/2012]

I use NSTools to set options. Found you need to install, boot to recovery and set permissions. Using AirKernel r1 voodoo only, BLN on, I/O - Sio, Governor - lulzactive 200/800. Inc CPU load 80%, pump up 1 step, pump down 2 steps, screen off min step 5@200mhz. Everything else stock.

Hey I went to install this tonight and had trouble. I wiped system factory reset. Did format system and installed the rom. Got stuck in the boot up. Pulled battery. Restarted. Loaded. My sd card didn't show. Couldn't see my picture in the gallery. Also my android ID was changed. Should I make just wipe data factory reset. Then wipe cache and dalavick? Never got the Android ID error before.

Honestly, no clue! I installed from a full wipe and had no issues. Let me know how it goes.

I have received the android id from titanium backup before. Just allow it to restore the previous one.

I'll try again tonight. This kids is why you always create and Nandroid back up! haha.
Simple restore and you're all good! How's your battery life been?

I assume since you are trying to install this, you are rooted and running a custom recovery. Any how, plug in your phone to the pc and in your notification center saying USB storage. Enable from there. USB debugging is only needed for adb commands like flashing a custom recovery and such.

Thnx Hlxanthus well I guess I should have explained my problem. I have researched the oneclickroot from shabbypenguin in a qbking77 youtube video. I have tried to root for 2 days but finally gave up because the drivers for some reason don't recognize my device or something like that it says there is an error and it also never gives me the option to unlock bootloader I guess it has to do with the error but I don't know how to fix this error. Don't know what to do or what I'm doing wrong. So I thought maybe I could try to install this ROM. But my USB debug isn't popping up. So now I guess I can't install this ROM anyway. Well I'm back to square 1. Sorry for the noobie mistake. Pls help I don't know where to go from here. Any recommendations will help.:)

I honestly love the new aokp build. I don't use Google now, but everything seems really quick and smooth.

im running v1.2 just dloaded the latest air kernel, set permissions, and theres no governor? i just wiped EVERYTHING including usb storage. think i need to set permissions AFTER rebooting with air kernel?

Yes, to get air kernel to be configurable with nstools you will need to flash the rom and any of my mods you like, then kernel and boot up. Install apps and such, including nstools. Then boot into recovery and perform a fix permissions. Reboot and adjust the governor to you hearts content! Work of warning, and this is for all JB roms IMHO, freeze maps when not in use with titanium backup. It is a huge battery sucker.

My current kernel settings are noop scheduler, lulzactive governor, inc CPU load 80%, pump up one step, pump down 2 steps, screen off min 5@200 MHz. I often us BLN but it also is a battery drain.

Edit, and there is no need to wipe your USB storage or you loose your nandroid backup you created, right? Good luck!

I wiped after backing up, and moving all to my PC. I wanted a fresh start as my USB storage was getting too full too quick.

All is great now thx for everything!

So I installed your ROM, worked great, then installed Air Kernel from here: AIR Kernel for GNex and NS Kernel !!: Air Kernel Weekly #224 for NS-JBN. However I might have installed the wrong one and now when I power up after the GOOGLE on the screen where I should be getting the JB bootup screen I have a lovely blank (black) screen. I am a noob to this and I was like damn I bloody bricked my phone! But thank god I had followed the instructions fully I had a nadroid backup and restored the phone from that. Ahh it was so cool to see my Phone Back up and running. Thanks so much for making that step not optional so lazy buggers like myself did completely brick my phone!
