No LOS, but have other issues - phone not recognizing when plugged up, computer doesn't recognize phone when connected, runs hot. other than that runs great.

What process are you trying to accomplish this? What method?

Mobile Odin is an option, or you can simply flash it in a safe recovery..

I here using odin, right now I am on el29 rooted tryin to go back to el26 but its not working for me.

Thanks for that, i've posted it a couple times maybe too quick without the http. But yea anyone having trouble feel free to use my srv. I'm hoping to have my srv available 24/7 to help with the dl burden on the other sites.

I can host w/e files anyone needs so if you have suggestions let me know and ill put them on the srv. again its

DK or anyone, if it helps at all, I had no LoS when I first flashed RC1 at all (both WITH GApps and WITHOUT) regardless of what I did.
My LoS started up as soon as I headed into town and since then hasn't settled down or stopped. Even complete phone resets don't always fix it since it started.
I had the ROM installed for a good 3 or 4 hours before it started though.
Sadly I don't have a logcat as I wasn't expecting LoS at the time :/

Here's my set up.

ROM: RC1
Kernel: Stock kernel that came installed on the ROM.
GAPPS: The GAPPS provided in OP

What I have experienced in the 2 hours of flashing.

I've had one (1) random reboot
NO LoS (so far running on 4G)
One (1) SoD
Auto brightness still broken
And just to test, I turned Google Now OFF to see if it helps with battery life.
One (1) random screen wake.

DK you're truly going somewhere with this ROM and I see in the near future, a truly stable Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM for the EPIC 4G Touch!!

Thanks again man! I'm gonna run CPU spy in the morning to check for Deep Sleep and report back in the morning.

You went from being helpful to sounding like you're advertising something...what's going on?

Anyway, LoS is really REALLY bad when changing towers, and sometimes doesn't resolve on reboot.

lol i'm not adversiting anything I just know from experience that when i go to dl a rom or kernel I get slapped with either a slow non premium download or (dropbox public account has reached its limitations)

This is my own box at my house with no advertising or revenue blah blah blah.. nothing.

I just figure i have all this bandwidth why not try to help out.

Hmm let me get this straight: the gapps recommended for RC1 is the one from the OP right? Is there any harm in trying Lowrider's 8/5/12 version 5.5.0 version?
