Good work DK RC1 seems to running pretty well

the only problem i have noticed so far is i still get the black screen when trying to watch video playback

I assume you mean my physical location? No, I haven't, the phone was sitting idly all day. I also have Location disabled now, Data disabled (just to test) and nothing changes the fact that it NEVER goes to sleep - even in the previous builds it'd sleep sometimes, just not much. Now it's zero. I wish I could track down what changed. What's worse, is instead of just being wake locked at 200mhz like in times past, now it's always pegged at max.

Forgive me for asking a [possibly] stupid question, but has your governor been set to performance somehow? I've seen/heard of setCPU doing some weird things.

Do EVERYTHING exactly as it is posted in the installation instructions on OP, then all should flash fine.

Are you on EL26?
Because if you're not then you're not following directions plainly stated in the OP and that would be why.
