Everyone. If you want a semi stable driver then use Alpha 4 and take out the media_codec.xml from Alpha 6.1 and sound and youtube will work along with data.

Was there a specific fix in 6.1 that got Google Now working? If not, using Alpha 4 with the media_codec.xml from 6.1 would result in a rom with working 3g, 4g, BT, video playback, camera, and fully functioning Google Now right?

ok 3g, sounds work, wakelock still an issue, cell service is fine, google now works, GPS is broken

Are you guys just switching the codec in the zip prior to flash or after flashed then copy paste reboot?

so close, have all the items fixed but split between 2 builds.
youtube confirmed working as well.

When you mean google now is working, do you mean the card system or just the search, cause for me its just search, if i try to set it up, it crashes

do not set it up, there is something wrong with that setting menu, just use and it should work, the cards and sound work flawlessly.

Thats just it, whenever i use it, i just get search results, no cards or sound, alpha 4

did you apply the 6.1 media codecs.xml to the alpha 4 before you flashed?
make sure you do a complete wipe data, dalvik, cache

Everything is working except for GPS and the phone will not stay asleep, once those are fixed should be very stable. Even the menu's do not fc.

edit: upon some research there are some settings in google now that need to be applied in order for somethings to work properly... including weather but still if you go into settings click not now.... or be prepared to data reset.

Ok so that is really good. I will combine the Alpha 4 and the code adjustments from 6.1 to make Beta 1. Can you get me a logcat of the current sleep wake issue plz
