Alright, new method didn't work. Still can't add a Google account.

Re: [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.2]OV-KitKat (JBC based)

For some reason it's mounting things right before flashing... Things like sd-ext and cache regardless of wiping.

I'll check if unmounting them manually before flashing helps.

Is there a way to have screenshot option on the quick reboot menu? I had that on an older version of this ROM

You can edit the power menu options in developer settings. Or in Interface settings. I forgot for now.

By the time you add an account, you've rebooted twice...

Clean wipe.
Install ROM.
Boot.
Reboot recovery, install gapps.
Reboot phone.
Reboot, then open Play.

Re: [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.2]OV-KitKat (JBC based)

to install fresh:
use skinbark's regular cwm recovery
in recovery:
format /system
factory reset wipe userdata
install rom zip
reboot, let it load up completely, then reboot into recovery
install gapps zip
reboot, sign into google account and let it complete sync (wifi preferred but 3g will work)
reboot again before using play store

Correct
3 times I rebooted overall

Okay THIS TIME I'm being extra careful about the install. I'm making sure everything is NOT mounted by the time I flash something. For some reason, wiping dalvik just wipes it then mounts sd-ext and cache.

-In recovery, wiped and unmounted.
-Flashed ROM.
-Before booting, checked mounts OMFGGGGGG it mounted cache and sdcard0. Formatting cache (which unmounts it) and unmounting sdcard0.
-Booting. Loaded up.
-Rebooting recovery.
-Checking mounts... cache is mounted! Formatting cache.
-Wiped dalvik.
-Checking mounts....cache and sd-ext is mounted. Wiping both.
-Flashing gappslight.zip
-Checking mounts again.....*facepalms* cache and sdcard0 this time. Wiping cache and unmounting both.
-Booting phone. Optimizing 67 apps instead of 8. Time for the magic moment.
-Attempting to add a Google account in settings......NOPE.
-Attempting to open Play and log in......NOPE. Besides it brought me to the same Google Sign-in thing.

I don't get it. I was absolutely perfect this time.
