[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

Did you revert the BT MAC fix as well? I hate to lose that one, whereas the volume issues never bothered me too much.

Thanks.

No. MAC fix is not reverted since it is on the Android side. I have reverted the kernel updates only. I am now manually adding the relevant bluetooth fixes into the kernel one at a time. This is how I had to do from the beginning. It takes more time but I will make sure there are no updates disturbing the operation of bluetooth.

Okay, something's not right here.... even
after a reflash, my rebooting problem still
remains... not as frequently, but it
happens. Also, I get an unrealistically high
battery drain while on 3G.... about 1% every
2 mins.

Sounds like more of an app problem then a ROM problem. With Backside I see about 1 to 2% every hour. I would fine out what apps are not letting you phone go into stand-by.
If you like iho and what good battery life, then go with Harmonia it seems to have the best for iho.

mrg666 your more of a dedicated code then I am, after spending a day on the recovery, and yesterday running some more codes for DSPManager my brain has stopped.

Well, I have BetterBatteryStats, but I have no idea how to utilize to make my battery better... :p
And Harmonia is amazing. I honestly like it better than BACKside, but there's some Play Store issues that are there that I want fixed before I return to it.

I would be great if you can do another test.

I've downloaded the 6/02 kernel and about to flash now. Going to take a trip to Mcd's and I'll see how it goes. Thanks.

Edit: Preliminary testing is positive, no disconnects. About 25 minutes connected. Going to do further testing after I eat.

I have uploaded the 06022012 build of MiRaGe to the IHO Wiki.

Synced with the CM repo and merged many security/bug fixes from the 2.6.32.59 kernel

The same ROM modified for Verizon Network is also available here. MD5sum: b53ccaaf5d73dc7ecaaf9bc4828ec39b

As always thanks to Blarf, Bob, Jerry, LeslieAnn, tdm, thekraven, gannon5197, tvall, bigsupersquid, Whyzor, Earthnfire78, and all of the CM team.

I think you should build an ics kernel :p

The new build without the bluetooth updates is here. I would be great if you can do another test.

Just did a good two hours of a2dp testing. Nary a hiccup. No disconnects at all.

I was running GPS, Bluetooth, Pandora/Slacker, full screen brightness, plugged in and charging. (plus other various tasks/stressors opera browser, drive wrong direction force route recalculation etc. to push it over the top) very CPU/3G/BT intensive, it became quite hot at about 120F battery temp(safe up to 140 according to LG). And completely stable. You are masterclass, sir.
This kernel is my new standard. :D

My battery on BACKside 0502 is draining.... I always turn everything off when I don't use it but when I'm surfing the web on a strong wifi connection it drains at like 1% every five minutes, and 3G's a nightmare, like, 1% every 2 minutes. I have BetterBatteryStats, but I don't know how to utilize it, lol. Anyone wanna help me out?

@encerspay--- go to settings>about phone>battery use>touch the icon at the top... what does it say is using the battery?... also, i use watchdog to see what apps/processes are running if i have the need... (not watchdog3g)... :-)

Well, it's been bugging me about Dolphin Mini, which I'm on right now. And my battery is slipping pretty quickly. Think I should ditch it?

if dolphin is hogging all the cpu and running when its not supposed to then yes i would switch... everybody has there own preferences.. i prefer opramini myself... never had any problems... there are quite a few options out there... the choice is yours... :-)

I have updated the recovery, now the update is only test on IHO OM-Manadylion rom so the auto update_install feature of BacksideUpdater may not work with all roms that auto mount the sd-ext partition on boot.

read more about it
here.
