[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

Does IHO repository automatically receive all of the CM7.1 updates in Cyanogen repository? or, only the ones Blarf pulls in? Do you know?

I was wondering if the IHO repository will be automatically upgraded to CM7.1-final when it is released.
Most repositories are pulled from Cyanogen, but the ones he has on his git do not get updated unless he merges them.

Now that we have several people successfully building from the IHO source, some of you may be wondering, what should you do next? I posted links in the wiki source page, and the How To Build thread, to a series of video tutorials by TechTV that will help you gain a better understanding of the interaction between the files used to build a custom ROM.

Are there any differances, between pbailey212s rom and the other IHO builds.

Please check the wiki binary page for listings of changes for each of the ROMs currently being built from the IHO repository. ;)

Did you disable data2ext4 before flashing the new build?

Nope, didn't know that was a required step! Assuming I should? So much information here. I'm going to have to start donating, because I have to tell you, everyone here has made this SOO much better than the stock V. After trying the Triumph I'm ready to keep my OV forever! Everyone here has made this a very usable power sipper!

I call it your name here rom because I want people to have an open canvas to do what they want to it and name it what they want, even on the build prop it says your name here. Plus this way people don't have to repo it,i did it just to try something new to me, but im sure alot of people don't want to deal with it , but want an untweeked base

BobZ - can you post a quick tutorial on how to make the most of DarkTremor's A2SD on your rom?
Should we not be using the CM7 application settngs for install location?

Alright,so does your rom use the same kernal r1.2. Do you just wipe dalvik cashe and flash,or do a full wipe. Im willing to try it out, does recovery matter. I have IHO recovery is it okay to use.

I type "a2sd check" in terminal and it tells me dalvik is running from internal storage... so I must have not configured the rom right somewhere?

Kernel hasn't changed since r1.2 to my knowledge. Wipe /cache and d-cache, then flash. If you have bizarre problems, a full wipe may then be required.

So I have a quick question; If I upgrading from lets just say CM7.1RC1-BobZ to BACKside IHO rom or and other combo all I have to do is Wipe Cache/Dalvik cache? or am i wrong?

I would try to just wipe cache/dalvik first, flash rom, then see how it goes. If you get a lot of strange problems, then you may need to do a full wipe and reflash rom. If you do, do a full wipe don't forget to reflash gapps.

It seems, with the 8/10 release, my camera pictures look gritty compared to before. Was wondering if anyone else had noticed this and also if I replace my camera.apk with a previous version should it fix this or are changes made done somewhere else?

Info: I did a complete wipe after noticing this and am still having the same issue. Haven't tried replacing the camera.apk yet with a previous version.

Unrelated: With the bob IHO version, built in v6 script, do you still need to use the script manager to change the v6 setting to what you wish to use?

Yes you would need to flash the script in order to change the settings. I only built in 1 set of settings into my ROM .... it's not changeable.

Which option did you use? Most people say 8. It's working good here.
