I am now able to record and get audio. What i did was delete the camara click and the video click .ogg files under system/media/audio/ui
Not sure if that fixes the problem but seems to be working so far, maybe someone can verify this.

I can also verify this fix. A couple things though, the files that I deleted were "Camera_Click.ogg" and "Video_Record.ogg". Also, the volume that the camera records at now seems to be right.

Thanks for the correction! I posted that early in the morning, so I didn't post the correct names for the files.

I have been testing this all day, and my phone still records audio while recording video. This fix works!

Thanks, this makes me wonder if the threading issue is due to those files not playing completely. This has not been an easy bug to stamp out.

I had already deleted them and forgot the names. Glad it seems to work though. n_n

Would it be possible to integrate the rollback to 2.3 framework that fixes the accelerometer lag in the next build? I don't know how to roll it back myself, except to compile a new build, which I don't know how to do... but its the only major issue with iho imo.

Did you try replacing the update binary in the UOT zip file with META-INF\com\google\android\update-binary in one of the ROM zip files? That helped me before.

This is my first time playing with UOT Kitchen and I'm stuck. After rebooting into recovery, clearing cache and dalvik-cache then trying to flash the UOT file, I get this message:

"E: Error in /sdcard/AndroidThemes/UOT-09-07-06-59-3.zip
(Status 0)
Installation aborted."

I've replaced the update binary as you suggested too.

In my UOT file, I'm trying to change the Battery, Icons, Status bar, Popup and Fonts. I've uploaded both the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk files from the ROM zip file that I've extracted (was I supposed to?). Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

A few quick questions i lost along the way. Did someone say in here there is a easy app to get rid of the majority of the bloat that was left in...

Also every app i normally use seems to work fine. Iheart radio runs with almost no glitches. However i like to use the police scanner app "scanner pro" and every since installing this rom it takes 60-90 seconds for the app the connect and start streaming. Once it starts it is alright though. Any idea on why? Prior to this is loaded straight away..

I just quickly scanned the commits and Blarf has not changed anything in framework since July 17th. Since July 17th all he has done is merge with CyanogenMod, so if something is not right with framework, it was cause by them.
What is the issue with the framework?
When did the problem start?

It takes about 1/2 a second for my phone to switch from the g-sensor. I just flashed everything over so it might not be lagging yet, I don't know.

Also does anyone else still have facebook app problems? It doesn't really matter since I can use the browser, plus is clears up a lot of widget room on one of my panes.

Keeps on asking to re-enter my password and eventually says error 102, cannot retrieve data because user has changed password. Which is not true because facebook messenger works (useless app btw) and desktop works as well.

I have tried to reinstall the app and cleared the app cache. When I flashed the ROM I did all the necessary data wipes as instructed on the first page.

Mine takes 3 to 4 seconds. Imma try some stuff out. Maybe its something dumb on my part.

You have to be sure to use the GreenMachineTheme from the same date.
