ROM manager Back Up?

I am trying to back up my ROM with ROM manager so I followed the steps but I have been waiting for three hours with a triangle with an ! inside it by the phone. Does anyone know how long it takes? What did I do wrong? Do I just need to wait longer or do I pull the battery and see what happens?
I would very much appreciate some help on this.
I am rocking a Droid 1 rooted and running Bugless Beast V0.4.

Never mind, apparently I was worried for nothing. It took four hours but it is done and all looks well.

Shouldn't take 4 hours to do a backup. The triangle with a ! sounds like the stock recovery. May want to try to reflash clockwork mod inside of Rom Manager
