Am thinking of trying out this rom but I don't want to lose my apps, have to reinstall and re-configure and then end up doing it again if I like it and upgrade to 1.1.

Is is possible to backup my apps with titanium and then flash the rom and once that's done to re-install the apps with titaniuma restore?

My understanding is yes. I haven't tried it that way, however it does do a backup of data/app...

I used Titanium to back up my apps and data on my DInc and I used to change roms more than I changed my socks. It's a lifesaver in that regaurd. Just be very careful about restoring settings, because sometimes they don't transfer well.

Thanks for the info, am now running storm v1.0. Interesting rom, will try it out, so far looks good and is very fast. Nicely done!

I agree. On my D1, settings would sometimes restore perfectly with a completely different ROM but other times they would not and cause more headaches.

I have not been impressed one bit by the default notifications either. Not very efficient.

Do you have Rom manager? Open it up and boot into recovery. Then install zip from SD. Find the file and load it up. Don't forget to wipe data&cache before flashing.
