[ROM] Official CM10 Nightlies on your GS3!

Is the OP of this thread still the easiest way to flash CM10?

Maybe not the easiest but the only way that I would recommend doing it. I don't like updater apps that CM has built it, just my old school ways but they have never failed me.

I have just flashed CM10 nightly 20121027 on my GS3 international and i have to say there is no comparison to Samsung's Touchwiz. It is much faster and efficient.

I only have two problems:

1) Battery drain quicker
2) The device turns off for no reason. (i have it now 3 days and it happened 3 times)

Do we know when is going to get out a stable version of CM10 for international GS3?

Is it better for me to go to the stable version of CM10 20120829? CyanogenMod Downloads

Thanks in advance.

1) Expect a slight toll on battery life. CM10 has had this issues for a little bit now and varies from phone to phone. I have known people who get amazing battery life while others get terrible battery life. All comes down to your phone. You can try flashing a new kernel like Lean Kernel to help as well.

2) Turns off fully or reboots? If it turns off fully that is a very strange issue. If it is rebooting then it is just instability with the ROM and that's standard for nightly builds.

Stable builds SHOULD be better for #2, but can't make any promises about #1.

This is the best cycle i have gotten yet. I don't know how but I had to post the pics...

Sometimes it's good, sometimes not. This was a great time!

I couldn't get that if I tried but normally I'm at least running 3 hours on screen time per cycle

I just picked up a S3 yesterday, can someone save me from reading thousands of posts real quick? How is the call volume, signal issues, flickering, or any other risidual issues you guys are having? Its been out for a while so I figured it has to be very close. Thanks in advance

Signal issues I don't have flickering happens once in a blue moon. Call issues have been fine as long as you run cm10 kernel any other kernels it has caused me problems

I get the flickering when I'm watching a YouTube video and adjust the volume or go from portrait mode to landscape. That's the only time I get it.

I was looking at my storage (in settings) and I don't have any pictures or videos on my phone but have 50 MB being used. I used Root Explorer to try and find anything I could delete but every path I take it says empty. Has any one else noticed this or have the same experience?

I just installed the Cobalt theme for cm10. It's pretty cool!
