[ROM] Official CM10 Nightlies on your GS3!

Yea on 10-8 I'm not getting near the battery life you did.....I'm 9 hours in with only 36 percent left 2hrs on screen

Yeah I don't know... I don't have many apps running in the background. When I checked my ram usage I'm at about 385 to 405. Which I can remember when I was completely stock it was double that all the time. Rooting this phone has really cleaned it up a lot.

Just flashed 10-10 build. Let's see how it works. It is very snappy.

I just read that the 10 we just flashed is going to be the next M2. So if your on nightly - 10 already your good to go. This information came straight from CM. They posted it on Google +

I was wondering about that because M1 came out on the 10th of last month

Well yes I know that... but how?

Edit... Wow nevermind, jus checked Android Version and its 4.1.2. I haven't had my coffee yet.

Haha yeah it is very early....this build is pretty good so far however even when I under clock to around 1300 I get some lag on the home screen boooo:thumbdown:

No underclocking for me :). I just set the kernel to only run between 384-598 while screen is off. Interactive and noop are the best on Jelly Bean I have found so I stick with that.

I normally don't I just wanted to give it a shot and see but I'm not going to under clock and have lag present lol

I noticed with Lean Kernel even without underclocking it I got a slight bit a lag here and there. Thats why I am giving stock CM kernel a go to see how battery life holds up. I would be happy with my phone if I can get a full days use out of it. I usually have my screen on anywhere between 1.5-2.5 hours a day and if I can do that and get a full day, around 15 hours off the charger I will be happy.

Is there anyway that I can flash cm kernel without redoing alllll of my settings ugh I hate that

One problem I have found with all the CM10 ROMs so far is when I play music coming from my SD card it does these random skips like as if you would hit pause and play very fast. I'm not sure if it is an issue dealing with the clock speed being too low or what but you would think even 394 MHz would be plenty. Idkkk??

Just reflash the ROM without clearning your data. Just wipe cache/dalvik/system and your good to go to reflash CM10 and Gapps. Will be like a new OS with all your stuff still there.

Don't know, plan to use it tomorrow when I do my workout and I will let you know. What music player are you using? I use PowerAMP.

I have heard a lot of people having that issue, I will let you know how it goes once I give it a shot tomorrow.

Alright cool...yeah it is kinda annoying for me because I use it whenever I drive and everyday at the gym. However it does not do it when listening to things like slacker or Pandora.

In the CM camera app, is there a menu option to save pictures and video to SD Card? I can't find it.
