[ROM] Official CM10 Nightlies on your GS3!

Same here, I am getting favorable results. Used my phone for music for about 20-25 minutes using PowerAmp and it has been unplugged since 7:45am. Aside from music usage haven't used it all that much and its down to about 90% and its 11:56. I won't argue with those results battery wise.

I'm getting diff results so far but the ROM may be settling since i flashed it again this morning for the kernel. Seems to be draining my extended batt pretty quickly with poweramp going and the screen off.

PowerAmp will drain the battery because it isn't letting your phone go to sleep, it will just run at a low frequency. Do you use SetCPU to tweak your kernel settings? If so then you can make a profile that will make sure that kernel will only run at a certain frequency while the screen is off and won't let it go above a certain speed.

Found a small glitch/bug with CM10 M2. Not so much the actual ROM but if you use SetCPU to limit the kernel speed when the screen is off you need to make sure that it has enough juice when receiving a phone call. I had mine set for 384-594 and it got stuck on a black screen when receiving a phone call with the profile enabled. Had to do a battery pull to get phone to wake up. Disabled the profile and had someone call me and worked perfectly fine.

I might try CNA or something does AOKP let you set your hardcore keys yet...like long press home for (voice search) etc.?

This may be a bit off topic and I doubt it has to do a lot with the ROM I guess it could....but have any of you ever gotten a speed like this?

What's your take on KT kernel

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Android Central Forums

Used it but it lagged for me. Could be the settings that I had but with Smartassv2 governor it lagged. Besides if you have G7 baseband or later I don't think it works yet.

I've heard of people setting their kernel as low at 94 MHz on KT and it working somehow and getting 20 hours battery life with 4 on screen

I don't know... I havent messed with any of the settings and i have the stock battery..I don't know if it has anything do with it but I do have a couple more days on the rom since flashing. I'm still on 10.

Formatting the SD card will wipe everything clean from it. If you want to get it working properly on CM10 or for that matter any ROM you will need to have it formatted for FAT32. You can download many free programs online that will do it, I just googled MicroSD FAT32 Format.

Baked is OKAY in my opinion. I used it on my Nexus and Nexus 7 and wasn't impressed. Basically Liquid, CNA, Eclipse and Baked are the same ROM that take features from both CM10 and AOKP and mush it all together.

I wish I wouldn't have just spontaneously tried doing it. Oh well only like 200 songs lost.

Yeah I get what you mean...I really like the blacked out things though

I agree it looks good to me as well but I find that the more stuff you throw in a ROM will mean more stuff that could go wrong.
