[ROM] Official CM10 Nightlies on your GS3!

I haven't had a chance to really test my "must work" features yet, but holy poopin....this ROM is FAST.

The fastest Ive run ever. I want this one to be a keeper soooooo bad.

Well at first BT audio didnt play through my car, after a reboot and a toggle now it works perfectly. Same goes for wifi, reboot, toggle, go. Had to clear the framework data, restart, and gps toggle to make the GPS work. Seems like a trend...toggle reset and all is well after the first go ya know.

That was a bit strange but they have all been working since.

Only problem Im having now is that Swiftkey 3 after installed from the Amazon market just force closed when you try to go through the setup. Tried reinstalling the app and the problem persists.

I find that with CM10, once you get the ROM set up to your liking that you have to reboot your phone to let everything sink in. Had to do that last night for a couple things. I usually recommend you reboot after flashing a ROM and getting it set up.

I wouldn't recommend using lean kernel with this....I don't remember have problems with it on M1 but this build it is so janky. More lag than I want back to CM kernel.

I was just wondering because I seen in another thread that some people are doing manual updates with zips and I wanted to see if anyone from here was doing the same. I haven't done any updates yet and was wondering if I should.

Cool, thanks. Yeah I don't no much about them either. What I do know though is that everything I have is still working and that's good enough for me. Lol!

I love me some TWRP. Been my go to recovery for a while now.

Just flashed M2 and after some weird issues when first loading up seems to be running fine now.

Updated what with zips? TWRP or CM10? I haven't updated TWRP, used the EZ-Recovery app to flash it and that was it. As far as CM10 goes, I used the CM updater to flash it but I flashed in recovery manually.

CM10 kernel wasn't too bad for battery. LK might have the slight edge when it comes to battery life but I will take the huge bump in performance.

I was wondering if you updated twrp. I haven't either. Just asked because I was reading about other people doing it.

Haven't found a need to yet, maybe sometime in the future when I get bored or something lol.

jlibis, I played music on my SD Card using PowerAmp and had no skipping on M2 build. I know that if you don't have the SD card formatted right it could act odd. I have a 64gb card formatted as a FAT32 card.

hows the battery life on the CM kernel? I hadnt noticed a performance decrease on M2 w/ latest LK.

I just have a 16gb card....so you think if I format it I should be working better? Never tried it I guess.

I'll update you when I'm further in on it.....so far it seems about the same battery life as lk but more snappy to me

Same here, I am getting favorable results. Used my phone for music for about 20-25 minutes using PowerAmp and it has been unplugged since 7:45am. Aside from music usage haven't used it all that much and its down to about 90% and its 11:56. I won't argue with those results battery wise.
