Is there anyay to get an unmodified version of the lg launcher to flash or install for this rom? To me I like the untouched launcher better but all I can find is hdpi.

What I still don't understand is that there is obviously a way to edit settings.apk otherwise we wouldn't have the pretty colors that we do in the settings menu, but every rom leaves the "privacy" menu in there even with the risk of bricking. Also, the wireless menu could easily have the tether settings menu added to it. I use launcherpro to add a shortcut to that built in menu to toggle tethering. There is no need for an external app. One other settings that could easily be added is voicemail number changing. It is there on the Optimus S settings menu.

I just finished porting the RebornROM from the Optimus S VD source zip. Just have to finish testing and then upload it. I'm not trying to take credit for anything. Many people want this ROM without flashing the original 2.1 (says vm instead of Sprint) and without waiting as I know the dev is busy with Shell ROM.

I'm actually almost done with the new version for the V. I already have a dirty port made that works completely minus MMS but I want to build the ROM off of a clean Optimus V framework.

UPDATE:
Two comments: I tested it and it freezes on boot/bootloop. I think it's something with the boot.img.
I'm not going to post the dirty port because it always seems like whenever I port a ROM you release the real ROM an hour later. Same thing happened with Reborn v1.

More testing is needed. I need to learn to repack a boot.img.

If it gets past the boot, I'd gladly test even without MMS. Looking forward to updated version of Nameless, using it over cm7

Anyway to make calls lol? Booted with no problems, runnin smooth. Loving the widgets in notification bar, I skimmed through the apps and looked at the powercontrol app to change the notification icons but didn't find an option to toggle each to my likin, Data etc. Could've been that I rushed and didn't look correctly, I'll look again when I have time. Overall, great update from an already good rom, thanks a lot. No bugs that I've noticed so far.

Check out this thread for modding the power control widget. Note that the wifi ap toggle does not function properly though (due too LG framework, not the actual toggle).

EDIT: Maybe the FCs were caused by the contacts.apk I used from the Optimus S? Try the newest download link, it should work flawlessly.
