I thought I was doing ok with 2.2.3. I finally got setCPU set up the way I wanted and it seemed great so I didn't want to take the time to update (I don't ever dirty flash, it feels too unsanitary)... finally today I just said f*** it, i'll do a nandroid backup and see how it is. First of all, my kids love Angry Birds, but it was always a little laggy on my optimus, which I didn't mind compared to trying to run in it on my old HTC Hero, which was pathetic. Anyway, I started using it as a benchmark and damn does it run well on this new build! You weren't kidding around when you said you optimized some stuff. Amazing work! Thanks for everything!!

Now if only someone would be able to find an exploit in the new EVO 4G HBoot, I wouldn't have to hear my wife complain about her laggy phone!

you can unistall the update....Manage applications, market, unistall update.

I believe this error with unavailable space to download is due to the new marketplace app, I have tried uninstalling updates from the marketplace but I still have the new marketplace and still only 11MB cache to download, on the old marketplace I could download anything almost all the time. After clearing cache I have only 4MB more up to 15MB free. I dont have nearly as many apps as I had installed in the earlier versions with the old market, is there anyway to uninstall the new one and put the old one back on my phone? Anyone got a link to the old marketplace apk? Thanks alot

Just wanted to say thanks for fixing the crashes with the ROM i enjoyed it and also thanks for uninstalling the battery mod i did not like it since i like knowing if its working or not that's why i love setCPU. But i have to confess i ended up just reverting back to ShellROM v2.2 and love it lol I just wish you could add the app drawer from RebornROM with out changing the dock and look of the stock app drawer and add it to ShellROM. Keep up the good work man

Here is my version of what I think you are looking for. Basically it's the Reborn Launcher modded to look similar to the Shell Launcher.

[NOTE]The spaces to the left and right of the Dock are blank but, they can be used for app shortcuts if you wish. (Long press app from app drawer and drop wherever)The catch is.......... once you place one there, you can only replace it with a different one. You cannot remove it.

If after you flash this, you still have icons to the left and right of the dock..... the only way to get rid of them is to go settings>applications>manage applications>Running (tab)>LG Home...... and then Clear Data. Then you can reset up your homescreen. (They will be blank)

EDIT: Issues noted above are fixed. You can, however, replace either of the apps on the dock by going into the app drawer, long press any app, and dropping it on the dock.[/NOTE]

what theme are you using there? I like the darker look. I have a sweet wallpaper for it

Theme is simpleG with the dark Google Search and the launcher I posted above. Other than that launcher the rest you can find in our Theme_Team thread.

I was kind of wondering about this too...Instead of the key activating Google Voice Search now it opens my recent calls. Any way to change this??

Are you trying to apply update.zip? If so, don't. Select apply zip from sd card and select from where the downloaded zip is.

I went to select zip from sdcard but everytime I tried to flash the rom ot was giving me a error message.... don't kno what I doin wrong....

It is possible you got a corrupted download - try downloading the file again, I'm not sure what else it could be, assuming you've flashed a custom rom before.

Out of curiosity, what is the error message exactly?

I just noticed today (even though I flashed 2.2.4 a few days ago) that this version does not include sprint vvm. I found a zip I had sitting around somewhere and flashed it. It did an update on first use and now I'm good to go. Just letting everyone know.

2.2.4 is a BIG improvement vs. 2.2.3.

Thanks ok now I got a problem I only got 1 bar of signal and I am in town were before I flashed this rom I.had full.signal Is there something I need to do to fix this ?
