Just wanted to say thanks for fixing the crashes with the ROM i enjoyed it and also thanks for uninstalling the battery mod i did not like it since i like knowing if its working or not that's why i love setCPU. But i have to confess i ended up just reverting back to ShellROM v2.2 and love it lol I just wish you could add the app drawer from RebornROM with out changing the dock and look of the stock app drawer and add it to ShellROM. Keep up the good work man ;)

How do you guys update the PRL ...now that you have reborn rom?

I tried nandriod to v8 stock, but that doesn't work.

This might be possible ;) gimme a day or two.

And hey, I'm glad you like shell better. That's why I made it, so people who don't need or want all the customizations would have a smooth running, simple rom.

You'd update the same way you'd do on stock. Settings>about phone>update PRL

If you are currently using VVM, you may have some time that it goes down. Last time I updated PRL, it did this and I ended up installing GV before it came back up.

Is there a kernel compatible with 2.2.4 that run at stock 600? My current Optimus will absolutely refuse to boot if OC'ed so I've been stuck on 2.2 w/Picasticks. I'll also take a update.zip that would set the kernel not to start at 748, if that is even possible.

Let me test something I have an idea

I just have to say that 2.2.4 is running great and has been much smoother than 2.2.3. Thanks for all of the hard work! This ROM has made my first experience with Android a great one. Nick7, I appreciate all of your hard work, so many of us have benefitted greatly from it. And thanks to all who ask and answer questions, I have learned so much from reading through this forum!

I 100% agree. This build is fantastic. Thanks for all the time, work and effort!

I'm having my first problem in a while. I cleared cache and Davlik then applied 2.2.4 without fail. I let it reboot and sit idle for several minutes. Everything is fine, but I can't download Market apps. It says there's no room on my device ... I say BS! Android System Info reports:

Internal Memory: Max 164.87MB, Free 47.57MB
SDCard: Max 15802.12MB, Free 5306.25MB
RAM: Max 425MB, Free 224MB

An area of concern (I think) is under the System tab, Memory section it says:

Download Cache Max 124MB / Free 236KB

What? I have a couple of cache cleaners but they don't see this "Download Cache" to be cleaned. How can I clear this and get back to downloading/installing apps? Is this the updated (ugly & slow) Market?

Thanks! BTW, I finally bumped my CPU to 768Max and am loving this ROM (as always).

Anyone else having SMS issues where it won't send a message? Never had that issue until the update now it seems like several times a day I get a notification that my message didn't send. Not sure what the issue is.

Try a data wipe. It says it in the instructions but I don't blame you for not doing it. Restoring apps is a pain.

Yep, haven't had to wipe in several versions - maybe even since Nameless to Reborn update. Not sure. Oh well, I've got a NAND backup and will add a full Titanium tonight before a full wreck & restore. Thanks.

I was hoping I could navigate to a directory and clean it out the old fashion way.

I'm having the same issue. Was present in v 2.2.3 for me too even after a full wipe. Now it's showing up again in v 2.2.4. Not sure if it has something to do with the market update or not but it's a bit of a pain.

Yeah, from what I can tell, the new Market appears to be WAY more sensitive about it. Several times I've seen the message come up on 2.2.4, but if I go back to 2.2.2 with the old Market, I can install the same app without issue (same exact apps loaded in each nandroid).

**Update to post #2313 above**

I wiped data and the caches and now Android System Info under System tab, Memory section says:

Download Cache Max 124MB / Free 236KB 67.01MB

67MB is FAR better than the 236KB before data wipe, but does that make any sense either? Is that all I can recover? Shouldn't I be closer to 124MB?

I downloaded Titanium Backup and my Pro Key then restored Android System Info. Tx again!

you can unistall the update....Manage applications, market, unistall update.

I dont think PRL updates worked since like Feburary... maybe my baseband is VC and i'm running a VD rom? But i'm not sure how to fix this.
