Profile and prl update

Just installed yesterday, now for some reason I can't download anything from the browser. Any fix or anyone else experiencing this? Installed Picasticks kernel as well.

Does anyone know how to mount partitions or create them properly with this rom or point me to the right direction?

when texting, after several minutes, my keyboard lags or stops working :( I usually end up having to close out the messaging app and restarting it -stock app (tried dirty flash and clean flash, still happens)

maybe my phone is dying? lol

I think the smartass governor is causing that. I have experienced that before. I am now using the ondemand governor

Use Zefie's Xionia v13 experimental kernel. It includes the ext modules. To create them you can use Xionia CWM recovery. It will create an ext3 which you can convert to ext4 using "adb shell" while in recovery. Drew's extension of Zefie's kernel might have the ext modules, also. The last time I looked the Reborn ROM kernel (Picastick's) did not support ext file systems.

It says Picasticks 007 does support ext file systems..

It says it's supported, but in actuality, it is not. If you wish to use a partition on your sd card, you have to format fat32.

*NOT TESTED DO AT OWN RISK* I found this modified data2ext on the optimus v forums and it does work with Reborn 2.2.4 just create a partition in recovery, adb shell in recovery, follow instructions @ Data2ext CyanogenMOD - UPDATE 26/01/11 - xda-developers, i did the new user ext4 instructions, then flashed this modifed zip...boom 512MEG of internal storage when I booted up, no more messing up marketplace...

After further research the download cache is stored in dalvik cache, Nick moves the dalvik-cache to /cache instead of /data So you have to remove his script that does that so it stays in /data and will be moved to your partition, what I did was a full wipe, fresh install, then adb shell, rm /system/etc/mvdalvik.sh That will keep the dalvik in /data/ now. I tried this with apps instaleld and it would not boot...fresh it works so far...

Doesn't work. New market forces update on this ROM, so you can't revert unless you extract and swap APKs.

That might be what I did at first....I can't remember.....LOL...

how do you get google apps up on this rom? i tried to install it from recovery but it wont work. it installs but i boot up and get nothing

They're there by default, it's not like cm7, when you flash the ROM, market and gmail are there. If they are not showing up, I'd suggest flashing the ROM again (after a clean wipe)
