also, I can't seem to get the theme to work. Just flash it on recovery, right?

I'm having an awesome time running Reborn v2.1, thanks again for the great work. I recently enabled Stagefright player to try to get rid of green bar that appears while viewing a movie in Netflix and now I can't disable it.

Every movie I place in SD card whether it be a downloaded youtube clip or a dvd ripped file has that same green bar appear on top while viewing the videos.

I follow all the steps in Terminal Emulator to disable it just as I enabled it and I'm prompted with this message.

sed: can't create temp file /data/local.prop5bzY6J: P
ermission denied
stagefright player = disabled

I continue with steps and exit out of Terminal Emulator, reboot the phone and it remains enabled.

I've entered R to revert to original configuration but Stagefright remains enabled.

Is there another way to disable Stagefright? ADB shell?

You could type "sysrw" in terminal emulator and then use a text editor to change the line in /system/build.prop

That's the theory...

If that's not working for you, grab the framework-res.apk from the zip file (\system\framework\framework-res.apk) and use adb to push it into the /system/framework folder

eg:
adb remount
adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework.apk

Could be something simple like clearing the davlik cache before you restart...

As with everything else you do on your phone, make sure you nandroid before any of the above commands...

hmm i just noticed a problem...i haven't been receiving voicemail NOTIFICATIONS since early may some time.well, atleast that's when i received my last voicemail.

can anybody else confirm? the only reason i even noticed was bc my gf told me she left a vm and i didnt get a notification.then, when i manually called in i had 5 new vm. =/

Absolutely love this ROM. Two questions:

How can I make replaced dock icons permanent. I keep replacing the SMS icon with ChompSMS, but it goes back when I reboot.

I seem to lose 3g coverage quite frequently, often when I'm streaming. I'll reboot, and the 3g coverage will return. Any ideas why?

Move chomp from SD card back to phone storage. As far as coverage, does it say EV? That's the same as 3g.

It drops from EV to 1x, then goes back to EV at reboot.

Ok, try to update your profile. Menu>settings>about phone>update profile. If that does not work, then do you know what baseband you had before you flashed reborn. (ie.... v9, VC, VD) You will need to upgrade if you had V9 or VC.
