The camera does not function well because the exposure option isnt showing. An option of up to +16 exposure is good, please implement exposure or the camera app is practically useless. The HDR camera apps cant fix this either, its a option in the camera that needs to show. Would be very appreciated.

Open the messaging app and press menu, look under settings to change mms back to white, this is also mentioned in changlog

Was the option to go back to the white mms from the settings menu removed in 2.2?

Quick question: I am still running RebornROM v.2.1. I have noticed that although the camera app is pretty good...when it comes to the video camera portion...there isn't any type of zoom feature. Is this just the hardware or does it have anything to do with the ROM? Just curious.

The hardware itself does not have any zoom. Any zooming that is done is by digital zooming. I don't plan on writing any smali code for the camera app but it could be done. Maybe try an alternate camer application?

Yes this version does not have the option to switch on demand. There is a stock white mms.apk flashable zip in our theme_team thread. (First link in my signature - see post number 3)

I noticed that the htc keyboard disappeared. Not sure why , I looked in usual spots . The only option is swype in settings /keyboard.

I am not sure if I am just missing it for some very odd reason or not.

The only way it would have disappeared is if you removed it. But do this:

- boot to recovery
- flash RebornROM_v2.2.2.zip
- boot up
- check again

Dirty Flash didnt work, its still gone.

I am confused, I physically looked into the zip file and it IS there. Why you don't see it on your phone is beyond me.

Did you find a solution to this? I can't connect to my PPTP VPN server either and don't want to switch everything around, but if other options are available and working let me know!

Seems like my post is the latest one concerning PPTP (VPN) issues.

Is or will there be a fix soon for this? I also found out that AAC is not supported..? Also, seems like Visual Voicemail is the only voicemail alternative for this also? I tried VOICEMAIL NOTIFIER and it does not work... Any fix for these issues as well??

you can use Google voice for voice mail. He just recently added back the visual voicemail. As for AAC, Enable stagefright and see if it works. idk I don't use it.

Does anybody have any solutions on how to get voicemail notifications to work? It hasn't worked since I had flashed Nameless ROM. I tried downloading the VVM client and Google Voice and neither of them work. Please let me know if anyone knows how to fix this bc it sux not having voicemail notifications. Thanks

I use Google Voice. I have the option set to send text messages for notifications. I get my voicemails as text messages with transcript.

If using VVM for voicemail try doing this if it is installed but you are not getting notifications.
1. Dial *38 from Dialer to disabled call forward. It will take 2 seconds.
2. Power off phone take out battery, then reinstall battery, turn on.
3. Update user profile: menu, settings, about phone.
4. In VVM compose a message make sure its aleast 15 seconds long. Send it to activate@VVM.sprint.com

You will get your recorded message sent back to you. It may take a few minutes for you to receive it back.
This comes from the help section in VVM.

Did. Restore from titanium backup. and now it is back.
not sure why it disappeared
