EDIT: Added a flashable zip and now signed for recovery.

Here try this contact dialer. I did a white lettering one too. I'll see I still have it.

Have to push via adb:

Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm -r /system/app/Contacts.*
adb shell rm -r /data/dalvik-cache/system@app@Contacts.apk@classes.dex
adb shell rm -r /data/data/com.android.contacts/shared_prefs
adb shell rm -r /data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/shared_prefs
adb push Contacts.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk

I haven't uploaded the white lettering one. Just ask.;)

Whiteletter PLEASE!:D

Figured out a problem I was having before with this ROM. 90% of the time, when I switch from mobile data to wifi, the screen locks up and I need to pull the battery.

Anyone else have this issue? I've tried reflashing over it, but it never seems to fix anything.

I haven't had any issues. I toggle wifi and mobile everyday.

Are you using Juice Defender?

I was having terrible wake-lock when I was at home and on wifi. I uninstalled Juice Defender and everything is snappy again. FWIW, I don't notice any difference in battery life without Juice Defender so I'm leaving it off.

No Juice Defender. Guess I just have a weak phone....

Just wanted to provide a quick update since nick teased you all, and what a great tease that is huh? :p lol. Were theming and buttonizing power control now so it matches our existing theme much better, making some tweaks to our existing theme, testing some battery changes, and doing some general code cleanup (stuff we shoulda caught the first time). Once everything is sorted out we want to run it for a good day or 2 each to ensure we've achieved the desired results then we'll release.

Sit tight and enjoy.

Well, I'm not sure handcent has anything to do with your problems, but I use to use it, found it a bit laggy and now I use Go SMS!...very similar just smoother.

Yeah, not sure either... I've been trying that one as well...

I think I need to take a look at an adb logcat... basically, my phone stops responding to user input momentarily...

Ok guys, sorry for the obvious question but I just want to be sure and not mess anything up. I've worked my way through the rooting and kernel installation, now I'm ready to try my first rom.

1. Download Nameless ROM. Do not open it, do not extract it, do not rename it.
2. Place on root of sdcard
2. Reboot to recovery.
3. Wipe data,cache,dalvik
4. Flash Nameless ROM.
5. Let the ROM fully boot.
6. Download noIQagent.zip
7. Reboot to recovery.
DO NOT WIPE DATA DURING THIS STEP.
8. Flash noIQagent.zip
9. Reboot and enjoy!
Note: If you would like to wipe data at any point after installation you will need to flash repeat the entire installation procedure.

What do I do, or what does it mean to FLASH in the above instructions?

So the nameless rom is something done in the recovery screen and im assuming the zip is something I simply click from my computer while the phone is still connected? Or no? Thanks.

nah just go into recovery and click install zip from sd card and click namelessrom.zip and then thats it and just reboot after its done

Boot into recovery, choose the option to install zip file and choose the zip file you've copied to your sd card... and wait until it comes back to the menu and lets you choose to reboot your phone...
