I believe there is a stock button layout .zip available. Im not able to look for u right now, but check the OP. It may be posted there. Good luck

Works fine on my Reborn but my prop still thinks Its a Nexus.

Try rebooting, if you haven't already, or clear your caches and try again.

No they are seperate things. Feel free to use the roaming application, just make sure you switch to home network after you are done using it.

Sounds like your cache is filled up. Either clear cache in recovery or use a tool such as cache-mate.

I have a feeling that Sprint is dropping the ball on us (as usual) and will not push LG to get us Gingerbread.

I was just looking to see if we were going to get the update. From what I read, LG is updating its optimus one phones by the end of june:

It's my hobby dum-dum! Now I can have a completely stable/usable phone AND a phone to constantly mess around with.

Thanks for keeping up your hobby Nick! I was wondering this weekend how I would go about upgrading a phone when the time came. I was jealous of a few friend's bigger & badder hardware, but am very happy with my Optimus S and your ROM for now. I would just like a touch more screen and a camera flash next time around (plus whatever else is standard by then).

I figured I'd have to watch you and the other Reborn ROM developers phone models and follow you like a lemming off a cliff for all eternity. It's nice to know I already have options (CM7).

Honestly, these high end devices are not all they are hyped up to be compared to the Optimus. My g2 is nice and all but I would not be disappointed if I ever had to switch back to the Optimus. It has great battery life, a high quality design, is fast and reliable.

I actually underclock my g2 to 768 MHz 1GHz is just totally unnecessary for this phone.

AGREE TOTALLY WITH THAT!!!! I actually have my Optimus and my wifes set to 480 max and 122 min in set cpu with an interactive gov. Our phones are still snappier and faster with everyday tasks then her sisters "virgin" Optimus S. It's a shame cell makers develop such awe inspiring hardware then stick a 1400 or 1500 battery in them. What good is 1+ghz when u can last seven hours unplugged?! Hell my first pc was a Intel Celeron processor clocked at a whooping 300Mhz. I paid over $1000 dollars for it. This was only 14 years ago and while that might seem like a long time to some of our younger posters it really wasn't. HEH i remember upgrading that thing to an aftermaket EXTERNAL 56kbs modem ... man was I fast.... lol. Point being there will always be a faster or newer thing . I think this is a great phone for everyday use. You wanna play games and surf the net all day go buy a Nintendo 3ds or some such thing. lol Not flaming anyone just trying to point out there is no need for anything near the overclocked speeds most people have. If you like being the fastest more power to you enjoy the braging rights... my wife and I went to Hungry Mother State Park thurs-sat and never needed a charge. You try doing that with an Evo clocked at 1.2Ghz lol.

side question is there a way to defrag the "rom" memory cause I've done a lot of flashing back and forth between cm7 and reborn and the phone is randomly freezing roughly once a week.

try doing a dirty flash (dont wipe anything)

also did you use titanium backup to restore anything? if so, dont do the system data-it just causes problems most of the time lol

to hell ! i get four day battrey outta my optimus one P500, o/c'ed at 729, min : 380.. smartass governer, some tweaks, CM7 gingerbread 2.3.3 (mik_os's) ! u try to get that from urs !!! its all abt improvement mahn !! what u get by making your phone underperform, i get by making my phone perform the best possible (both performance and battery wise ) !! !
