I know this is a dumb question but how do I install this buttonswake update. I tried renaming it update.zip and installing in recovery but that did not work

For some reason when I try to use sprint football live with this ROM it tells me that it's only available to Sprint users. Any reason for this?

I had the same problem with the NASCAR app. Ended up changing the build.prop setting "ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha=Reborn ROM" to "ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha=Sprint" and all was good.

The only downfall is the notification area once again says Sprint instead of Reborn ROM.

Small annoying visual. Says EU instead of 3G, where can I change that back? Also way off topic but when a adb install of an apk fails internal mem goes missing, where is it hiding ? /data/local/tmp/?

EV=EVDO= sprint's version of 3g

Not exactly a bug, just more accurate than displaying 3g.

I am having some phone lag when running wifi. I disable it and the phone peps back up. Is this normal? I notice it just sliding thru home screens, but really noticable in higher graphic games (angry birds in particular).

I rarely use wi-fi because if I have wi-fi access more often than not I am either busy or using my laptop. I know this isn't productive, but I use my wi-fi hotspot pretty regularily and haven't been like whoa either with any slow down.

I just wiped my old Thunder ROM and flashed to Reborn 2.1. Initially the phone just cannot reboot. It just hang at the LG logo. I read through the thread and figured out that it could be the overclocking issue. So I flashed the "Boot_600_max.zip" that from the old Thunder ROM. Now it can boot.
Then I was trying to use the tweaks script following your instruction. However, when I type "sh tweaks", it says "sh: Can't open tweaks". Is there something that I missed here? Thanks.
Also, after I flashed the "Boot_600_max.zip" to allow my phone to boot, how can I overclock it again? Thanks.

Editing your build.prop (JIT, HW ACC, Stagefright):
1. Open terminal emulator, provided in the ROM.
2. Type "sh tweaks"
3. Follow the prompt.

I have a feeling that the boot 600 likely wiped out the tweaks command. You might try a dirty flash (flash reborn again without wiping anything), but it might cause issues if the original problem was truly overclocking. Either way, either live without the tweaks and overclocking, or try flashing again.

If you had asked before you flashed the boot 600 zip I would have said do a dirty flash the LG boot issue is mentioned in post number 2.

Unfortunately I think at this point you are going to have to do a complete wipe again first.

Did you do a full wipe before flashing to reborn like the instructions say to do? Also there is a built in power control bar in the drop down notification menu with this Rom. Maybe that conflicts.

You didn't follow the directions to flash Reborn ROM. Please follow the directions properly before reporting issues.

I have been noticing the same thing; noticeable lag, when just sliding between home screens. I hadn't pinpointed wifi as the problem until I read your post; disable wifi and suddenly there is no lag at all.

A bug in the ROM? Are others having this problem?

No issues here. I did have some lag a week or two ago, but it was from a GO Launcher update. Reverted to before the update and no more problems.

I run wifi all the time and have never seen a lag issue. Try pinpointing other apps first. It's not the ROM.
