The gingerbread keyboard is force closing and throwing an error that net.thinkindifferent.inputmethod.latin has stopped unexpectedly during the selection of an input method. I am unable to select the input language from within the gingerbread keyboard preference as well. Does anyone else have this issue with 1.1?

It says in the OP to read everything. This issue was known by me the moment I signed the zip and was posted in the known bugs the moment the download link was added. It will be correctly baked into the next release most likely.

Make sure you're reading the whole post guys.

As for data cutting out, you're on your own unfortunately. Myself and my testers have not encountered this issue.

Mad thanks to mmmark111 for bringing us the first rom for the V. It is my first rom to install, and everything went well during installation.

I have a problem with the screen timeout. My screen is not shutting down after the specified timeout period. It dims the screen but doesn't shut all the way down. Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this a known issue?

Awesome ROM. Been using it for the day and nothing is wrong. At first I couldn't set a regular wallpaper. Only Live wallpapers. But a reset resolved it. I like how you have LauncherPro as the stock launcher. I always used ADW. But this is better to reduce amount of launchers available, as I would never use the stock one anyway. And it's more responsive.
I haven't really noticed any speed differences with the GPU rendering the UI. But I wouldn't really notice it anyway. I'm sure others will. Linpack averages to about 7.3 mflops.
Just for a future update. Other bloatware that I could not uninstall (through regular procedures. I'm not all techie for adb stuff) are Poynt and airGchat. Other than that, graet job!

P.S. - You said in v1.1 that you added "Screenstate scaling added (written by flohimself. this removes the need to have a SetCPU profile for screen-off. saves battery)". Does this mean that the phone is underclocked during timeout? If so, what is the frequency? I use OverclockWidget to underclock during sleep, and the frequencies detected by it go low to 122880. So I have it set to that. Which would save more battery? Using OverclockWidget or not (with how you made your ROM remove the need for SetCPU profile for screen-off)?

Hmm since using your ROM I've noticed an extra icon up top, appears to be that similar to the sync icon, so it might not be your ROM itself but LauncherPro, regardless though, how would I go about removing it? It is taking up valuable space up there since not a lot can fit there anyways. Heck if I could I'd probably get rid of the battery icon and clock also.

Also, not to be a nitpicker, as I am nowhere near criticizing your work, but a few suggestions I had was maybe kill the AirG Chat and the rest of the bloatware, upload a few more icon themes for LauncherPro, add in overclocking (If that is even applicable to a ROM, or is that just a kernel?), and I noticed that once I changed the wallpaper I didn't have the choice of changing it back to the one that comes preinstalled (It's some kind of transformer), I was wondering if you could make it install somewhere so I can reapply it when I want to show it off to my brother in law (He loves those crazy robots).

I'm sure there were other things as well but I cannot for the life of me think of them at thee moment, but I will give you more feedback as I progressively use your ROM :)

"-Most bloat removed" = The rest will be removed eventually.

Overclocking is done through the kernel. I believe there is an Optimus S overclockable kernel that works with the V.

Next release I'll make it easier to re-add the default wallpaper. Right now it's sitting in framewrok-res.apk

As for updates, as the phone grows in popularity I'll increase the frequency of releases. This ROM hasn't even hit the double digits yet. I'm more used to 500+ downloads a day with my other stuff :P

Never used ext4 but I'll look into it.

With screenstate scaling, it just tweaks the way the governor changes profiles.

Anything you guys would like to see in this ROM other than what's been mentioned?

I must be doing something wrong. Every time I try to flash this the only thing I get is the wall paper. Unable to load the rom up.

That means you installed it :P

The wallpaper is stored in the ROM's framework so you wouldn't be able to have it unless the system files were installed. Go to settings and about phone. It should say RodimusROM v1.0 or 1.1 under "Build Number" just like in the first picture in the first post.

It looks stock because I haven't done any theming yet but trust me, it's not :)

I'm working on v1.2 on and off so you guys should expect it in the next few days. I've done a little bit of theming to better distinguish this ROM from others.

Just checked the build number, it was the stock one, the FR something. Didn't have the RodmiusROM version. Doing a Nandroid restore and trying it again. I've done a lot of modding over the past few days so who knows what I've done.
