Whats really weird is friendstream is not showing up under my widgets? I havent uninstalled anything.. argh.. I remember these days back in WM and even my Hero.. lol

That's because you did a factory wipe and it clears data/app, where I put those apks listed in the first post. FriendStream is moving back to the system/app directory, which will survive a wipe. I'll push out an stockapps.zip that will put those back on if people do a factory wipe in the future.

Good stuff.. I downloaded titanium backup so I'm gonna start loading all my apps in.. when I flash to your new rom and use the backup... will it keep friendstream?

Thanks Saepak.. Does the Syncing icon constantly stay on? It looks like all my contacts, calendar and facebook are updated, but its still on.

same here unless i manually go in and cancel sych and resych but it eventually comes back on.

So guys but i'm going to refer ya'll to post #224 by KSmith in this thread. You will need to push the FriendsStream.apk and odex to your phones. If you need to know how to do that go over to the other thread that is talking about adding and removing apps.

I tried it twice and I cant seem to get it.. it looks like it registers, but I dont see either under apps or widgets... When I type in the commands in cmd I see a lot of info come up.. I restart my phone and I still dont see the apps.

are you wanting the widget also? if you are you have to push 4 files to the /system/app directory while in recovery mode. the friendstream.apk and the .odex file and the friendstreamwidget.apk and odex files. push all 4 or it won't work.

well I dont even see the files I pushed onto the device.. I used Astro to go into that folder where I was "Pushing" the device and it doesnt show up work.. Argh!!

I am uploading 1.3.2 right now... Flash it, I didn't do a wipe last time.

It will put FriendStream back into System/app but it'll also reload any Sprint/HTC apps you uninstalled previously. Just remove them again...

If you wipe when you flash ROMs, that is ok... just WIPE first!

If I want to keep all of my stuff, scenes and things what do i need to do? anything? or just flash?

Keith I hope to have my list of acceptable sprint apps you can remove done sometime this weekend. I will pass your way when finished. I can say with 100% certainty do not let people remove Friendstream (if they are going to use any social networking), any of the social networking apps that go through friendstream, news, weather, or stocks.

The firendstream and social networking will cause sync-loops. The news, weather, and stocks will prevent the accounts sync screen from opening, just force closes.
