My status bar is there. The power toggles all appear to work... at least, wifi, auto-rotate, and sound on/off do. Bluetooth does. I think... yeah... maybe? location works too. No problems here.

That's what I thought. Well ... I'm half tempted to stay in bed keep 11-20 up until I have time tomorrow but everyone owes my dog a HUGE thanks cause she's gotta go out so I need to get up anyway.

EDIT - Link for 11-21 back up and more confident it's user error or bad download. A friend saw the thread and text me saying it's shenanigans. His wife flashed it and it's working fine.

Regarding flash, that's not my project so I'd suggest a new thread if you need to discuss anything flash related. Flash was removed from this ROM on the 11-20 build.

If you try using the file you posted a link to earlier your phone won't boot. That's for HTC devices running sense.

I've seemed to have lost the status bar. I just updated from your 11-19 version, wiped the cache, installed the other kernel on top of it, but now the status bar is no where to be seen. I can't even make it appear with LauncherPro's home key shortcut. Is there a file I can pull off of one of the older versions for a quick fix?

My guess is you hid the status bar using launcher pro. Switch back back to the stock launcher and I'll bet your status bar is back.

I'm not sure what happened. I redownloaded it and tried reflashing it and it worked this time. I'm loving the toggles. Sorry about the false alarm.

I'm also missing my status bar. I just flashed from stock, with Drew's kernel. Everything seems to work fine, but I'm missing my top status bar. I tried rebooting a few times, and even reflashing, but can't seem to get it back. I'm using ADW if that matters.

Remove ADW and use the browser that CAME with this ROM. Otherwise you are not running a supported configuration and we can not assist you. BUT since you are asking about ADW.. did u happen to turn off your status bar.. or "hide it" and/or save your ADW settings and accidentally also saved the no status bar AND keep restoring it.. see, there are TOO MANY POSSIBILITIES...

Go back to all stock, then tell us what happens.

I apologize if ADW isn't supported, I thought I had read earlier in the thread that it was "preferred". Anyway, I uninstalled ADW and rebooted. Still no top status bar. I'm using the default launcher now.

Ok, try this...... dirty flash the ROM. No wipes, just reflash it.

Thank you for doing that. Its much easier to troubleshoot something that isnt 3rd party to the ROM itself. You did NOTHING wrong, if you like ADW, good for u. It was just the troubleshooting that needs to be done.

Hm. No difference. Flashed, sans wiping, booted up, rebooted, nothing. I also noticed that aside from my missing status bar, my USB mass storage mode doesn't work with this. I'll play an alert sound and flash my LED, but only seems to be charging. It doesn't prompt me for what mode I want, nor does it ever register with my computer. Perhaps the issues are related?

I know your trying to keep the 'Stock' look with this rom and all, but itd be nice for a non stock animation in this, maybe the fold animations with whatever animation the cm7 rom had when you turned the screen off, kinda looked like a old school television turning off.

What your talking about is not a CM thing, thats stock google code. This was included in the GB source code but LG disabled it. Because it's stock code, i'll consider fixing it in the next build although i believe only the screen off animation works, not the screen on. Regarding transition animations and window animations, i will not be changing the transition style as they are already the ones included in AOSP.

EDIT - Download and flash THIS (link removed). Should have the screen off animation you were talking about plus i sped up transition animations. If you use spare parts and change window animations it will kill the screen off animation so don't do that. It's not my bug ... it's googles

Remember, it's a beta, I dont have the phone, make a backup first.

You probably have this phone on the original ROM now; does your phone behave normally when on stock? Or when on an earlier version of Hydro?

It behaves perfectly while stock. I don't see where I can get an earlier version of Hydro to try. Last night's was the first one I attempted to flash.

Here's what I would like you to try if you would.

Make a good backup in recovery of your current setup.
I am not sure how the recovery is setup on this phone, but basically wipe everything but your sdcard clean. Then flash the 11-21 Rom and report back if the statusbar is there.

I have a recovery setup from right before flashing. I was using the "CWM-based Recovery". Now when you say "wipe everything", am I just going back into the recovery and hitting "wipe data/factory reset" or is there a less ominous sounding option you're referring to?

Go ahead and make another backup for good measure, and then yes, wipe data/factory reset, also wipe cache, then flash the 11-21 Rom. Don't worry, you can revert to your backup to get all of your apps and info back if this does not work.

Backed up, factory reset, caches wiped. I let it boot up from recovery (took a while, as usual with the wipes) and then restarted it again for good measure.
Everything is certainly stock looking now. I even have the little Android guy giving me tips on screen. However, there is still no status bar. :'(

After the factory reset and the wipes, did you flash the ROM?
