what exactly does Data Service Governor Killer do? is it an app or add on?

I have not used it but from what Ragnarokx said it has no real benefits that is why he didn't include it in TrulyEpic Rebirth.

Just in case anyone sees this problem, reflashing the ROM cures this problem. I think somehow when booting up the first time without the modem drivers installed can cause a issues.

also, Using SDX App Remover, becareful what you remove. I reinstalled The apps i removed from The TER ROM, and this Fixed my Music Player issue, and also My App Market issue. (at first i thought it was cause of the Market itself, as it has happened before)

The ones i Removed Were The drmUA.apk / SisoDrmProvider.APK. The sisoDrmProvider seems to be directly related to the The Music player issue i was having. i would remove this app, and the issue would come up after a reboot. i would install it, issue gone. and when i installed the drmUA.apk, the market download issue was no more.(i didn't check to see if it was related to the problem, but doesn't matter cause its working again =] )

I have the wi-fi error when I try to turn it on as well. Started having it back on "stock" DK28. Try to turn it on, long delay, finally reports "error" under the wifi settings screen. Not a ROM issue, but sure is annoying. i've just gotten used to it taking several attempts, eventually it works.

Haven't found any likely fix anywhere.

I can ALSO confirm having this problem- but only lately- when I 1st flashed the rom I had no issues. I did update my profile and prl (for some reason I forget which) and perhaps that's possibly what did it?

I agree going to the settings screen sometimes helps- or turning off 4g 1st or a reboot almost always does the trick. Kinda annoying- but not a deal breaker enough for me to wipe /reflash.

If you made a backup in CWM before you flashed the bootup animation then yes. Otherwise you will need to flash the ROM again.

You could try flashing the ROM as long as its the same ROM with NO WIPE and see how it works. If you have no FC's then great, otherwise worst case you have to wipe and flash again.

Ok so I rooted flashed dk28 and flashed this rom and so far today it has worked like a charm. No GPS problems or anything that I can tell. I've been messing around with it for about 8 hours now. Great work everyone! If any issues come up I'll post them here.

Are you referring to where it says TrulyEpic Rebirth on the lockscreen?

Yes, right under the time it has the date and right under that it says "belongs to:" and right under that it has an alarm clock ... and right under that it says protected by antivirus. And yes I'm using an antivirus, AVG.

ragnarokx, This is hands down my favorite rom I have used to date. Including all of the EVO roms, and hero roms (No offence to any of the fine devs over in those respective forums), Keep up the great work!

Although i did have a few questions.

1. Is there a standalone flashable zip for the blue circle clock without the rest of the dark theme?

2. If so is there a flashable theme for the original theme as well?

3. I'm getting incredibly long boot times. Thought the boot animations are friggen awesome just sayin =P

4. Lastly i'm getting noticeable lag when switching between my home screens as well as whenever i try to open up the app drawer. Noticeable, but not a deal breaker.

Hmm.. perhaps an app like Juice Defender would help in this situation. If Juice Defender turns off your WiFi every time your phone sleeps, and turns it back on when your phone wakes, this would essentially perform your fix but automatically (in theory - I don't remember if Juice Defender is capable of doing this).

Juice defender does turn the wifi on and off. Unfortuanely mine sometimes goes into a mode where "error" is listed under wifi settings screen. If I touch this menu item it normally is able to turn things back on. I actually think the error shows up more often using juice defender on my device. Have been using TER for about 2 weeks.

I've had this exact same experience having Juice Defender installed.
It's a nice app, but I keep getting Wifi errors even when it's not running.
I'm uninstalling it now.

1. I believe nova454 has it listed in the themes section on xda.

2. I'll upload something when I get home later today, unless Paul beats me to it

3. How long? After one cycle of the "S" animation mine boots.

4. Are you using widgets from apps on your SD card? This is known to cause slowdown until the AMLauncher is updated.

Cool thanks man, fixed all of the above.

Then i had something painful happen. Market stoped working, i tried to reboot, and now i'm in boot loop.

I'm re flashing as we speak.

I attempted a clean reinstall, and it worked just fine. I then proceeded to re-flash the sprint apps, as well as bubble sms, sprint vm, power button, and theme i had previously had, and i immediately got a boot loop again.

Edit 2 - mounting usb storage from inside android cause phone to reboot.

Edit 3 - I tried to make a CWM backup of my current working setup. CWM finished, and i proceeded to re-boot.... This caused a catastrophic failure of every process, in addition to somehow erasing the system data...

Truly Epic ROM home screen lag?

not sure if anyone else is having this problem.. but ever since installed the truly epic rom, ive had some serious lag when i press my home button. screen remains blank for about 5-7 seconds, and sometimes nothing pops up at all, so im forced to press my app button and load my home screen that way. anyone else have this issue? anyone know how to fix it? any help would be appreciated.

First I have heard of this. Rotation lag yes, there is a fix for that.

What have you flashed since installing TER and have you restored any previous apps/data after flashing TER?

This is not isolated to TrulyEpic Rebirth. My wife is running Bonsai on her phone and the same thing happens. I'm starting to believe the dialer pad isn't intended to show in landscape mode because it wouldn't fit the screen.

I thought the intention was if the phone is in landscape you use the keyboard to dial. Did it ever have a soft keyboard in landscape? There's no need- in the car dock you're supposed to use 1 button press voice activation.
