No device detection at all. Not much to do but go to Sprint and get a new one.

Bummer, otherwise you might be able to play around with the LG Update Tool and see if you get anything new.
Do you have insurance on this phone?

I'm also having some WiFi issues. It'll connect for quite some time, then just turn off. Then it won't connect to anything again until I reboot the phone.

Not a HUGE deal in the grand scheme of things, but annoying as ****.

I had that issue when I was in LEGO, no problem after flashing to VCRom + a data wipe... :-\

Did you do a straight V007 install, or did you get to V007 through an earlier version?

I actually had not installed VCRom at all yet when I experienced this issue. I was on stock VC with GNM 1.2 recovery installed and had just rebooted out of recovery.

That is correct also. It's just a paperweight now. I guess I didn't pray to the phone gods hard enough.

Don't give up...I was sure I was done for, too. Hangs at LG, no ADB, no recovery, nada. I took the battery out for a while but when it rebooted, it was still toast. What worked for me was HOLDING VOL + and POWER for a LONG time. It may have just been a coincidence, but that is what worked for me. Good luck...keep the faith.

Got back into my phone after trying the KDZ unbricking stuff (which didn't work). I ended up getting frustrated and had the phone plugged into the computer sans battery. Decided to unplug the USB cable on the computer end and the battery charge screen came on with a warning about a lack of battery. I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel.

Installed battery and phone booted into VCRom.

Restarted into recovery and restored my nandroid of stock VC + root.

Now to customize the shizzle and remove Sprint ID and all that jazz. Will wait for a more stable ROM.

zefie, thanks for all you've done. You're a true helper to the community and I appreciate what you do. I do agree with you that the VC update is interesting, and seems to be quite a roadblock for sure.

Try the kdp 500 utils and zefie's V9 cab. Maybe that will let you restore. Or you can retry the KDZ method with zefie's cab. I had issues with KDZ myself but the kdp500 worked perfectly and I was able to force flash V9 over my OTA VC and then update via lg tool. Now rooted again and workin like a dream

They are in that post. Side note I just installed your 007 Rom and it works perfectly until I try to install an app from the market...then it freezes and I have to pull the battery

lol nope. A few seconds after it starts installing an app I get kicked to the colorful X stuff which I assume is the Nexus startup.

Sucky part is im a bit buzzed so i forgot to backup before i installed vcrom lol

I was having the same problem, so I formatted everything (even SDCard) other than boot and then reinstalled VCRom. Worked fine after that. I just assumed the cache was the problem since I tried everything but that before I formatted everything.

Has anyone that has had market issue just went into appliactions and cleared cache and data on market then tried? Maybe even try clearing the cache in applicatons before trying to install a app.

A couple things you could do to help try and sove the problem.

1) If you are Overclocking set you speed to 600max.
2) Open command prompt and run the following command

adb logcat > logcat.txt

It won't print out anything but let it run in the background then go try and download a app wait till it either freezes or reboots then count to 30 do ctrl+c which will stop the log then attach the logcat.txt to your post.

Has anyone else had Swype not work with 006? I mean you can still type, just not swype. It warns that the keyboard is configured for.another device.
