I was planning on offering both stock and my theme for VCRom anyway so when it's ready that will work for you. It will be just the theme.

The theme isn't ready yet though.

gonna wipe my data and try from clean..

somehow my /data has prevented all of the errors everyone has found in the previous versions.

Even 001 works with my nandroid restore lol.

Edit: sorry man idk just wiped data, set up google account, synced, accepted market TOS, downloaded etrade painfully over 3g, installed it, and launched it.

You aren't using a legorom theme are you?
Yeah that is pretty much exactly what I did; I'm not using any other rom parts or themes but your's.

Oh well I guess I will never know why this happens. Maybe I'll screenshot it when it happens just for fun. Screen is heavily artifacted and pretty much just garbage.

Unless your rom is deodexed most of the changes I want can't be implemented...

Every download the phone reboots and v6 doesnt get past boot image.
This is exactly what happened to me! Glad I'm not the only one. I posted a logcat readout. The errors are pretty explicit. Reboot is happening because the kernel is sending a kill sig-9 to the system. Something is up with either packagemanager or the deflation process. Java gets a error and throws up acid vomit that kills the system.

Did you post v07? or did you just tease us with change log comments and didn't put it up? ;)

Btw, the first time I booted V06 it hung, then I restarted it again, and it worked fine... (HOWEVER, this could be attributed to me simply installing it over v05...)

My issues from yesterday appear to be related to stuff my son had ran - that didn't exit... I"m playing with v06 today again and it's running cool...

(I hadn't realized that JIT's turned on by default in the zcv build.prop... Guess it's mainstream now... :D)

v6 seems to be working on Market okay for me - not FC or reboots or anything... Phone's OCed to 746...
Maybe it is because I flashed from v3?

Hanging is a sdcard driver bug (go LG).. if your log is filled with 'mReady taking too long' or something, eject your sd card, android will crash, restart, and unfreeze :) it doesn't happen often.

as for 007 i always post changelog before the file ;p

ah... didn't know what the mReady meant...

I know that 99% of the time, my card seems to be happy...

No update for me yet, but I know it's inevitable...at which time I will use the LG updater to do it because I want root and custom rom. I'm really thankful for all of you guys who are working so hard on this! I've been following the threads to be prepared and it's obvious you've been putting a lot of time and effort into this.
The free space for apps is the main thing I'm concerned about. It looks as though this rom gives plenty of room--at least close to ThundeRom. Is it the same or is it just a tad less?

I took preemptive action on my wife's phone just in case she got the OTA notice and actually did the update...

Now that I've been through rooting it, as long as the recovery hasn't been updated to the OTA version, it's cake... One of the issues with the other version is that you can't make the exploit executable... not so certain about if the exploit itself will work... because you can't get to the point where you can run it.

007 won't flash. Won't bring up the fail safe menu or anything. Just goes right back to the last menu.

If you are using my recovery there is a bug that will not allow you to select the last item. make a dummy file called zefiebug.txt and u should be able to choose vcrom.

Already fixed just pending testing.

Holy balls am I having problems over here. Your 006 flashed fine, but installing anything from the market reboots the system (to the nexus boot screen) or just straight up crashes the phone (this happens 100% of the time if the notification window is down). So bummed right now. Haha. I'm going to bed.

Okay, so I flashed 007, but I'm still having the problem with the market. Quite frustrating to say the least. Let me know if theres anything I can do to help you out zefie.
