the mini/medium etc isn't about screen size. it's about the total size of the gapps. gapps mini is a very slimmed down version of gapps.

I can confirm that sending and receiving mms works, as well as sending and receiving sms with only swapping out the apns-config.xml. :facepalm: can't believe I didn't think of only doing that.

Just installed this after being too lazy to figure out why the jellybean ROM I just ported didn't boot and was not surprised by the errors occurring when I booted this ROM. However, I want to test Google now and after running a logcat and seeing that the problem is all related to the missing library google_endpointer_jni I figured that its a simple .so file we need or something. Of course it seems that none of the people on any forums understand this issue and I was just wondering if anyone has looked at the jellybean source code to look for what its asking for.

Cant you just build the rom straight from google source and pull that lib?

I don't know how to read source code All I know how to do is switch files and such. haha. You can't just swap the lib's out with one from a previous rom?

Its a new lib(I think), so I doubt it.

Its a combination of several things.
Missing lib files, the ARM encoder, the drop of ARMv6 support and a shift to ARMv7 standard, partial technical hardware incombatibilty, and the fact that the Optimus one line was not built for anything passed gingerbread in mind.

Most likely, yes. But itd be a hacked up version made for ARMv6. (Just like many of the other ARMv7 apps working on ARMv6 devices)
Its just a matter of time.

When you download, or install?
If download, just redownload from a computer.
If install, disable signature verification.

How can you be sure of that. We don't even have the lib files so you can't be sure it won't work if we get them.

Just an educated guess.
~60% of the time, it's as simple as replacing the libs(or other files), the other ~40% requires something done to said libs(or other involved files).

I'd say, find a JellyBean ROM(for any phone) that has Google Now fully functional, dissect the ROM, and see what can be done from there.

Alpha 5 will be uploaded shortly with MMS fix and hopefully theme chooser, trying to fix theme chooser fc atm.
