just letting everyone know, i flashed this rom on my optimus v, along with gapps, the sprint-to-ov.zip in the zefie port thread for optimus v, and the optimus v key swap in the xionia kernel thread and i was surprised to find that my mms works!

I experience that on my Optimus V running aospCM7. It doesn't happen every time, but the majority of times I launch Google Maps/Navigation/Places, I have to reboot afterwards. Even if I kill the app, it continues to destroy the battery life until a reboot. Pretty annoying, but not a deal-breaker.

I may try to jump on board for this ROM if aosp doesn't push out a major update soon (for, say, Bluetooth fixes). What needs to be changed for this to work on the OV? Anything major? (I don't need MMS to work because I use Google Voice and, if I need to send MMS, do so via email.)

FWIW, I appreciate that you're staying with the CM7 customizations. Pure Gingerbread is really nice, but Cyanogen and his team has made it so much nicer.

Well maybe not lol. Crashed and bootlooped after 15 minutes. Flashed differently and trying again.

The only problem I have is that when I use visual voice mail it says "cannot play". So I can't listen to them. Everything else is perfect, including the speed!

I LOVEEEE this rom so much. I have but one small issue; I'm sufffering from extreme keyboard lag occasionally. Does anybody have any tips for this guy ?

Now that you mention it i have noticed that my typing and overall rom slow up randomly as well. Cant duplicate it tho

I use to use adw but it lagged to much for my liking. But I was on stock rom at the time.

Really?

You've got a nearly fully functional CM ROM and you're being nitpicky about dock styles? That's a launcher asthetics issue and you're on your own with that one.

If you dont like the way the dock looks, or want a gingerbread theme dock, just search the market for "adw gingerbread"
