This not an issue I EVER noticed. Can anyone else verify? I was gonna upload a new build today, but I dont want to if it is all messed up to start with.

I found out what was causing it if you don't do a full wipe while flashing the privacy mod the Bluetooth toggle stops working if you then revert back to the original without wiping the gps toggle stops working too so there's nothing wrong with the Rom its just the privacy mod screwing something up

Awesome! This was driving me nuts as I couldnt figure this out LOL When I upload I will give explicit instructions! When you flashed, did you wipe anything the first time? I usually recommend cache/dalvik cache at the least.

Yep wiped cache and dalvik cache like you said in the first privacy mod test but no dice it has to be a full wipe

DanteRom Updates

v2.5 Updates +Settings Menu modified to remove "Privacy>Factory Reset" as an option due to brick dangers. +New Boot Animation added. This is an animation that I have modded from the AOSP 2.3 bootanimation.zip. Please give feedback!

Instructions:

-Download DanteRom.v2.5.signed.zip [MIRROR]place on the root of the SD card
-Boot to Recovery, Cannibal Open Touch recommended but Xionia is still okay. (power down, then press Home, Vol Down, and Power and hold to the first LG splash)
-Create a nandroid backup, this is a must.
-Perform a full wipe, I use Debug-FormatALL.zip if on Xionia for simplicity. Seems Zefie's link is down so I uploaded it.(Zefie's page with the debug zips)
-Disable Signature Verification and (now signed!) Flash the zip file.
-Reboot and Enjoy!

Kernel: (optional, but recommened)
-Please install Rom and boot into the rom first. Then download the kernal of your choice and place on the SD card. Boot into recover and flash, no need to perform any wipes

ATTENTION When switching to Dante.Rom.v2.5.signed.zip from you MUST perform a full wipe. Not doing so breaks functions within the QuickPanel Mod, and maybe others. Do NOT report any issues if you have not.

Gentlemen, pardon my ignorance but I must ask. How does one update a ROM such as this? I already have version 2.3.3 installed and working properly, so should I simply use the "install zip from sdcard" in Xionia (after placing the 2.5 zip on there of course), or am I supposed to treat it as a completely new installation, which includes doing a full wipe? I would like to be able to keep all my settings and apps intact if possible.

As he says a full wipe is required, you should clear data via xionia (switch to COT!) Before flashing. To avoid losing data, try using titanium (DO NOT BACKUP SYSTEM APPS THOUGH!)

Something in the settings mod requires a fresh install or it breaks some of the quick panel toggles. You can successfully use titanium backup to backup and restore apps and data but just use it for apps from the market NOT system apps.

DanteRom and HydroKernal flashed 3 days and running VERY smooth. So far, everything is working and no FC issues.

Rom is working great, however I can't seem to get the Dalvik2cache mod to work. I have tried a method mentioned of updating it, but that didn't seem to fix the issue either. Any suggestions would be most grateful.

That should work by default. What exactly is the problem? Are you having market issues?

Second, I seem to be stuck with the wrong time zone stamped on my backups. Not a big deal, but is there a fix?

All recoveries (except for TWRP) name nandroid backups based on GMT. There's nothing you personally can do about it.

Issue was I wasn't able to download roms and such from your DropBox when I clicked the link. Wasn't aware of a desktop mode.
Dolphin is working pretty well for me now.

Hmm....might have screwed myself but, is there anything I can do if I cleared the phone via privacy? I didn't realize I shouldnt do that and now I cant get any of my backups to restore. It just reboots back to recovery. TIA

What recovery are you on? Xionia and COT I believe have a fix boot loop option. Also try restoring a rom and then perform a factory reset from recovery.
