I rooted fairly recently and have tried a few roms. With all the talk cm7 I decided to test it out. I was up and running in just a few minutes and so far its great.

I have my screen set on auto which seems to be much dimmer then any other rom set on auto. Brett your right the screen off is pretty cool I think that's why I stuck with omgb for so long. Only thing I really miss about sense is the phone dialer. I can barely remember my number let alone anyone else's so I tend to spell the name using the dial pad and now I can't. I try it for the weekend then who knows.

+1 on the dialer. Miss that too. And the keyboard. Stock Android keyboard blows huge chunks.

Build 16 is out and its running great so far. Plus there is a new updated kernel from slayer.

Just to let you guys know Slayer has a Cyanogen mod theme in the market that can change the theme through the theme changer included in the rom. Its pretty sick

Downloading the new build now I really like all the CyanogenMod settings and forgot how much I like ADW.

I'll check out the theme too, thanks.

Edit I couldn't find the theme search for cyanogenmod theme or slayer.

i've been a big fan of cm7 since it the first build...

let me know what kernels are working best for you...I stick to a few for all the roms so hard to keep up with the names and kernel names etc...

besides hydra, ziggy, king - i don't try others out - but ill see when flashing roms invisiblek,...heyitslou...htc kernels like skyraider athena 1.2 - adrenalyne. those i have to download and fish through the kernels to see what i'm actually downloading

almost with every rom though - hydra and ziggy have been the most stable and i get good results quad and linpack - not that i care a whole lot about that.

I've been doing the inc re-engineered but miss too much of the CM7 i was using.

Also, I don't know about themes - but if i should know more - please indulge. downloading cm build now...sick of all the other mullarchy. thx all

I'm on cm7 v16. It is awesome so far. Super fast. Everything appears to be working. 15 was force closing on phone calls... The battery life is amazing. Uncommon sense was really sucking up my battery.

Do you guys know how to change the picture resolution on the camera app?

Loaded CM7 16 today too, so far so good. I tried connecting my BlueAnt BT hands free when running 13 and it would not connect, would not connect on 15 or 16 either. Is anyone else having issues with BT connections?

I just jumped from 13 to 16 and I didn't have Bluetooth problems with either. Using Plantronics 220.

Yeah I know, its old. Dog ate my 920 =/ LOL seriously though

Edit: biggest problem I had with 13 was that gmail wouldn't sync. I would always have to open and refresh in order to see emails.

Got the BlueAnt to connect - I had to reset the Blueant and then force a pairing - but it worked! Yeaaa!

Im trying out IncRom 1.2
So far I love it, I havent found any problems so far. i love the animation, totally different then stock sense.

Only one minor gripe, I wish there was a way to change the color of the clock on the lock screen. The white numbers are a little hard to see on any wallpaper that is not dark

This may be a stupid question, but when you wipe cache in Clockwork, it wipes the Davlick as well as other cache as well right? It was something that flited through my head a few minutes ago and I thought to myself "I don't remember!"

Nope. You need to go to "advanced" then wipe dalvik. I am almost certain the dalvik has to do with the jit compiler.

Thanks. I don't know what prompted that question to run through my brain, but I'm glad I asked. I knew I had seen wipe dalvik somewhere I just could not remember where.

I need some expert advice. Im currently using inc ROM_1.1. Im looking for a kernel and would like some feedback on user experience. Im looking for something that is smooth. Any suggestions?

ziggy's kernels always ran well for me when I used sense roms.

So who else besides me has flashed CM nightly 19 already?

It runs smooth. I can't tell if there has been any differences yet but they added a feature called "phone goggles". I am not sure what it really does though haha. The description below it says that it filters outgoing communication.

Do you get any random reboots using cm7? For some reason mine does it a couple of times a day. Just downloaded 19 and going to flash now
