Root an HTC one Remix (Verizon HTC one mini 2) ?

Anyone out there know how to root an HTC one remix (verizon version of htc one mini 2)? I tried looking everywhere and can't find a solution.

Sunshine doesn't work to get s-off on the verizon version and towelroot requires s-off on htc phones to work (it's a sad vicious cycle) . htc DEV also doesn't work with verizon phones.

I'm on that struggle guys. Please help!

Hey. I know this isnt a new post but i have the same phone and through experience and questions i learned that verizon has made the phone unrootable. IT IS impossible to root it becuase of what they do to the phone in the factory. Sorry I was bummed out too.

I joined to say this:
I just used Sunshine to successfuly s-off my Remix. I'm having trouble finding a recovery that works, but towelroot does seem to work after s-off.
